1. Overall - nicely decorated cafe, offers open air under big umbrella or indoor seating, chill environment, plenty of seating and parking capacity, friendly services, pet friendly too, food selection are cheesecake, latte, chocolate, purple yam drink, matcha red bean cake and many more from Ang Ang's Roastery - Tanjung Bungah
2. burnt cheesecake - creamy, semi-light, crusty top but silky smooth cheese inner, great for sharing
3. tiramisu - tasted good, great mix of mascarpone cheese and thin layer of cake, topped with cocoa powder, liked the ratio
4. matcha red bean mousse cake - it was perfect combo however it was not done the best, all layers were thick and individual by its own, did not like the top layer the most
5. hot chocolate - tasted ok
6. purple sweet potato drink - ratio was off, tasted more milk than purple sweet...

I had high expectations of this place since most of my mainland friends recommended the place. I went for coffee and cakes after lunch during the weekend, and the place is spacious with plenty of seats outdoor and indoors.

But when it comes to coffee and cakes. This was where my high expectations came crashing down. The cappuccino was just average, with a weird bitter aftertaste. The Choco nutty cake was just ok, with the layer of Choco melting away, and the combination was not the best. When it comes to taste, it's all subjective anyway. Maybe I need to give this place a second try to see if what I had the first time was the norm.

Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but definitely not the best. Plus, you don't get much choice around the area. Still a place worth going to if you need a place...

Used to have very good experience at this Ang Ang Roastery Tanjung Bungah branch, haven’t come in few months and had a big shock to see how terrible the service has became.
