This herbal bak kut teh was one of the better ones as compared to the ones in JB. The soup herbal taste is neither too strong nor bland like water. We ordered 2x medium size pot and all of it were finished by the family including the seniors.
They have interesting shrimp (hei bi) rice to go with the soup. The umami is strong and makes the rice very flavourful.
We went in the afternoon at about 2+ so it's relatively empty and the boss had taken initiative to ask if we needed more soup.
I won't recommend the dai lok new though. It wasn't very flavourful.
