Venturing into Jalan Air Itam's street food haven for the first time, I opted for the Wan Tan Mee, drawn by the bustling queue.

Despite the anticipation, the noodles fell short of my expectations. However, the unexpected hero emerged in the form of the dumplings.

Impressed by the dumplings' robust flavors and generous fillings, the culinary disappointment transformed into satisfaction. Every penny spent on this dish was undeniably justified.

Despite the initial setback, the positive experience with the dumplings has sparked a desire to explore more stalls along the street. The dumpling soup is a definite reorder, and my journey through Jalan Air Itam's culinary offerings is far from over. This street food haven has proven to be a delightful surprise, and I'm eager to uncover more hidden gems.
