Secret Recipe — Restaurant in George Town

Lots of choices for all ages, those who love to eat and those who are careful with their diet. For cakes, the plain baked cheese, marble baked cheese and New York cheese cakes are sure to please most people. For Western dishes, special mention goes to the Stewed Aussie Beef Steak for juicy, tender, strong black pepper flavoured meat and delicious mashed potatoes base. For fish, the Caribbean Fish Fillet should please those who prefer a healthier choice. I would prefer fewer pairing of main courses with highly processed oily french fries which are unhealthy and more wedges or baked potatoes which are real potatoes. For pasta I highly recommend the Seafood Marinara Pasta prepared with Linguine. The flat surface of the pasta has better texture than spaghetti. Also the mild sauce should agree with most people. When I ordered a takeaway box, prawns were out of stock, yet they were kind enough to include more mussels with the normal serving of scallops. The Spicy Seafood Medley Pasta is also worth a mention. It is a mix of garlic, chilli and seafood with a dash of lemon zest. For coffee, the barista is able to whip up a good flat white and cappuccino. Take them without sugar. The Worst Secret Recipe ever !!

Went here yesterday for my birthday celebration, ordered Chicken Mushroom, Beef Noodles and Cheese Chicken Spaghetti. What a worst decision ever!The Beef Noodles was smelly & taste rancid, the salad on my Chicken Mushroom was bad, not fresh at all, and the Cheese Chicken Spaghetti tasted funny.

Also, while halfway through our meal, there's poop smell from the wash-room as 1 of the staff exit out of it, and makes us gag by the smell of it. What a horrible way to celebration my birthday, it so awful that in the end, we didn't finished our meal and order TeaLive & McDonald's vanilla cone to wash-away all the horrible food.

Almost forgot to mention that the staff bring wrong order for my drink, I order Ice Blended Green Tea but they gave me Ice Tea.. My only advice, just get the cake & promptly get out from that shop.

P/S: Looks good doesn't mean taste good. I didn't eat that beef noodles because it's stink...

There were several employees chatting but none attended to one customer trying to order when there were just a few customers around. Only one female employee attending to the customer and when asked question, I was rudely dismissed when I was just asking a simple question. Eventhough I have often patronized this place and my experience with other waiters/waitresses weren't bad, I was truly upset by the employee's attitude and decided not to step foot at this place ever.
