A nice place to chill out with friends and family. Love the environment. Minimalist Japanese style, the sunlight shines through but it won't feel hot, suggest to visit around noon on a sunny day to get better photos.
Ordered dango with matcha and azuki toppings and I preferred matcha flavour than Azuki haha. Will try other flavours on my next visit.
Oh ya! We ordered tamago katsu sando as well. Kinda special cause the tamagoyaki was fried with the katsu top. Sandwich bread was the milk bread with a sweeter note. They added mustard to neutralise the overall sweetness of the sandwich, a smart move.
Matcha and hojicha latte were decent.
Yuzu yogurt soda was refreshing, not too sour, not too sweet, just nice with a hint of grape fruit taste.
Parking, a lot of the parking lots were reserved for the shoplots around the area, kinda hard to get one. Try your luck by parking around the back of the building.
Overall experience - 5/5 Price - cafe price, total damage for 3 drinks, 1 dessert & 1 sandwich...
Read moreCame here twice as of now. I quite like how it is usually pretty peaceful and quiet here. It is pretty underrated but I would like it to stay that way so that I can visit here more often without crowd hahaha. Anyways, even though their dangos can be a bit pricey (RM15 for two skewers), the flavours I've tried so far were good, I especially recommend the yuzu cream and the classic red bean. To me, warabi mochi is similar to our mua chee but it is a bit more jelly/collagen-like. And we've also tried their isobe yaki mochi, this was really, really good, it reminds me of the Taiwanese sweet potato balls but more savoury. Other than that, for their drinks, so far I've only tried their Hojicha latte. It was pretty good without being overly sweet. The Hojicha flavour still came through the creaminess of the milk. Very...
Read moreLove the vibe of the place. Went there on a cool rainy day so I chose to sit at the al fresco area. The view is okay and there's also a fan so it's not too hot. I wouldn't recommend sitting outside while it's sunny though. It's apparently ok to smoke at the area too.
Staff were somewhat attentive and got the door for me as well as presented to me the menu. Very polite as well.
Food is alright though nothing to die for. Mochi is well made and flavors are good but nothing truly special. Coffee is good. I'll be back to try their other types of mochi and beverages. This isn't really a place for actual meals though.
Nevertheless, if parking isn't an issue, it's a good place to chill and read a book, play card & board games with friends, talk (softly), and do work (most...
