Sushi Edo Penang — Restaurant in George Town

I recently came here for dinner, on the recommendation of my friends from Penang. I was very satisfied with my meal and overall experience here. The sushi off the kaiten belt was delicious and cheap. It does not seem like the owners compromised quality to sustain the low prices on their menu. My appetite would have been fully sated just off the sushi I ordered, but I decided to pig out a little and also ordered a few items off the menu. I had the grilled salmon fish head, sashimi and the cold udon noodles. All were delicious, and didn't cost very much. With their friendly staff and delicious food, I am definitely going to stop by on my next trip...

The pros:- Affordable sushi and food Cashier/Boss is friendly and prompt

The cons:- Waitress forgot my drinks until the boss asked me the 2nd time as my table doesn't have water yet. Took awhile for my order chit to be taken by waitress. Cold soba is warm soba.

I'm not the person who really likes to complain about an outlet, but the fail zaru soba really ticks me off. If they can get zaru soba wrong, it means they don't have the knowledge in how to serve one of the simplest meal in the menu. Also, it took them 20 minutes to serve my soba after they take my order chit and the place is only 1/4 occupied. Not going for second visit...

WOW with super fresh salmon, and just wait till you taste the wide range of sushi, especially it's specialty "maki - Mozza Sake Sushi"; Smoke Duck Salads; Marvellous Grilled Salmon Fish Head comes in Sweet or Salty cooking and many more. Practically every dish is great. You know we Chinese always over eat when the food is great. So make a trip now to this fabulous Japanese restaurant during CNY with friends/relatives.
