Hey Trevor James! We took your advice and went to try out the place 👍🏻👍🏻
Honestly this place doesn’t disappoint. Delicious and quite worth the bucks. So we each ordered one type of the meat.. so I’ll explain based on meat type taste.
1- The chicken was tender, delicious, Chongus and juicy (for the breast)… me and Mr J ordered 3 types of chicken which was the golden one, the ayam briani and a new one that tasted kinda like masak merah… all 3 got 5/5 in terms of taste, tenderness and even portion! Price wise, it’s RM 10, the Briyani was RM 9 and the masak merah was RM 7. Totally worth!
2- The lamb one ordered by Ms B was priced RM 18 and her comment was “portion was huge! Taste wise is fatty and not too gam.. a good balance and worth the price! 5/5 for sure!”
3- The beef one ordered by my boyfriend was priced RM 10 and his comments was “Tender and flavourful, portion was big and worth every cent!” 4/5 from him
4- Atmosphere wise it’s alright if you’re into eating in an alley kind of place but the lady who served me was really nice 👍🏻 Though the cutleries could’ve been cleaned better now with COVID going on. I’d suggest douse them into hot water before giving it to the customers.. this I give 2/5 due to the cleanliness
Overall I’d say this place is a solid 4/5. Would come again in the future when I have...
Read moreWe had 3 chicken briyani and 3 beef briyani. They were very tasty, large portions. The meat was tender, generous gravy and pineapple & cucumber on the side. Free flow of cold drinks matakucing, bandung, tea, rose syrup, corn and asam boi. Free top ups, blessed. I saw/heard the owner offering free drinks to the street cleaners (though the cleaners didn't buy any food from them). That's very gracious of them. For travellers/tourist give this place a go, I've Kiwi kids and they liked the briyani here, different from the Indian version we get...
