Set 1 Kaya Butter Toast = RM10.90 Service Charge 5% = RM0.55 SST Tax 6% = RM0.65
This is a Big Place, not Air-Conditioned but feels Nice and Airy. It was quite a Cold Morning when I was there and together with the Christmas Decorations and Music that they played in the Background, it gave me a Nice Christmasy Feel.
Staffs mostly comprise of Elder Aunties and they're Very Nice and Polite. There aren't much people on an Early Friday Morning altho it did start getting more Crowded from 9.00am onwards. Their Menu consists of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and even Various Desserts.
White Coffee (Hot)
The White Coffee taste Quite Mild, and the Caffeine Level is not very strong. Also taste Quite Creamy. The 少甜 Less Sugar Level I requestd is Not Bad and really makes the Coffee not Too Siap Siap Bitter and also Not Overly Sweet. Overall, this isn't the type of Strong Coffee to smack you awake, and feels more like a Gentle Nudge. Not Bad tasting Coffee.
Kaya Toast
Kaya Toast uses Brown Kaya and the Coconut Taste is Quite Prominent. Some Google Reviews claims they will butter the Whole Bread for you instead of in having in Usual Slabs. This is Incorrect. The Butter pieces still comes in slabs and you have to bua them to get an even distribution of Butter. Toast is toasted well, not too burnt and still crispy. Decent Kaya Toast.
Half-Boiled Egg
The Half-Boiled Egg however i feel is not cooked fully as I could still see Clear and Watery Abulmen. Personally I'm still OK as it didn't taste Overly Raw, but some people may find this Too Raw for their Liking.
The Price for this Whole Set at RM12.10 (S$3.60) is very affordable and certainly worth a try. Although you need to be prepared that their Eggs may not be cooked as thoroughly if you cannot accept Abulmen that is too Clear or Watery.

Read moreFood generally OK though I would say serving size should be reduced (and also price wise reduced accordingly) to make it less wasteful eating here for breakfast.
Nasi lemak is nearer to nasi campur as the fragrance is not only from coconut milk and pandan leaves. Turmeric chicken was unfortunately too dry. Shop should really look at frying whole chicken parts and not resort to chopping up a chicken drumstick to give 3 pieces of fried chicken.
Kaya butter toast was way too dry. Butter amount is reasonable, though the quality of kaya should be looked at. At the price of 5.90, for 2 pieces of toast, it can be much better.
Do note that there are a lot of menu options not available. Refer to the photos I have posted for...
Read moreOverall is doesn't surprise me with anything except the price is a bit high, I can get the food here at the hawker centre just around here with cheaper price. Just a normal ordinary restaurant, nothing too fancy. Food is average nothing too good or bad, except the lao shu fen (dry) highly NOT recommend to try it is terrible. I could write a 4k words essay to describe how bad it is. Everything here environment, food(except the lao shu fen) , drink, service etc is average. Don't expect too much. But do hate it's lao shu fen. Yes I am writing the entire review to complain about how bad the lao shu fen is. So if u want to eat lao shu fen DON'T come here. WARNING: DO NOT TRY THE...
