The eatery environment is not that good. ya, for sure that they put the table nicely and etc but problem is with choice of food, hygiene , services and pricing. Is a long post but hope you guys take your time to read it.
Lets start with choice of food. We been there in the morning and evening but the stall open in the morning is just less than 3 stalls compare to evening one. Ppl will also sometimes like to drink coffee/tea in the morning with some food around but nope, it is poorly organized.
Hygiene - They allow the customers to bring the dog in and sit on the chair. Dont get me wrong here as I am a pet lover but I also will respect other ppl on it as pets is not allow in any eatery, be it Halal or non Halal. Then I also saw them allow ppl to smoke as well which Msia gov already banned ppl on this but the owner just let it be. I also saw the Ban mian stall use the cloth to wipe the pot also use it to wipe the table, this is not hygiene at all.
Services - When I about the make the payment for the drinks, the waitress told me the drinks is expensive due to Ba long long drink. So meaning that your staff also look down on me that I cant afford the drinks? The eyes also told me that you are looking down on me. Is fine as there wont be next time to visit this place since there is other kopitiam choices out there.
Pricing - The drinks pricing is expensive. 1 Ba long long in bottle and 1 Kopi-O is cost RM8.40. I go Gelang Patah there also just cost RM6-7 for this 2 drinks.
The food there is ok, still eatable but not that great that ppl will rmb and...
Read moreThis new kopitiam is a breath of life to this sleepy town. It has varieties of food stalls but not all them were operating. I ordered some satays, and from a stall selling all sorts of food including Thai food. The satay was average but the sauce was a let down - without consistency and too runny. I wouldn’t come back for more. My Thai rice with chicken was a flop with cold rice, soggy chicken (instead of crispy) and very sweet watery chilli sauce. It took more than 30 minutes to serve this dish - yet the chef can’t get it right. It costs me rm9 for a substandard food and it is definitely more expensive than an average hawker stall. My mistake was that I ordered from the menu given by a stall worker rather than checking out each stall myself. I believe specialty food stalls (not one that tries to cook everything) would have better standards and quality. The management could be more selective in choosing the right stalls for their restaurant. The general surroundings of this place is clean and pleasant. I hope that the management would be able to maintain its cleanliness unlike most food stall restaurants harbouring stray dogs and rats with oily floor...
Read moreAlready so hard to find a good hawker place around this area. Now that there is one, it becomes a smoker den? Smoking right under the “Dilarang Merokok” sign, ignoring kids, elderly and pregnant ladies around. What’s worse is some idiot smoking directly in a partially indoor zone. Reported multiple times to authority, i’m guessing owner should do something here? Instruct your workera to warn smokers? Already tolerated those smoking partially outside and now even tables inside are getting 3rd party smokes all over. This is how we want to build up a proper society around...
