WHAT A LET DOWN at seven oaks! My advice after our crazy experience is, if you are going to come don’t come Monday lunch. We had actually already been yet night before and bought some nice pre made cakes so decided to come back for brunch- big mistake!! Here are seven reasons Issue no.1 - don’t say the meet tacos has absolutely no spice, then serve up a spicy bolognese for young kids - especially when it’s clearly pointed out that they can’t take any chili Issue no2. Don’t then tell the customer they don’t know what they are talking about and insist there is no spice and the kids should eat it Issue no.3 - when asking for an alternative, do try and help out the customer and suggest things they can eat as if your menu is limited it would really help to suggest what the chef could cook. Issue no.4 when offering fish and chips, maybe have chips available - embarrassing. If really no chips , then suggest an alternative such as the potato croquettes and don’t suggest charging additional for potato croquettes given its a like for like replacement Issue no. 5.suggest you don’t try and charge customers for meals that are not what they say on the tin and as a result uneatable Issue no. 6.- don’t have a poster saying your staff try really hard then act like there is nothing you can do and seek to overcharge Issue no.7 do have a manager who can deal with customers concerns and tell the chef to get a grip I should say for balance that Despite all of the above the food we did receive eventually was alright and well cooked and I have place the pics here. But I can only give the lowest marks because of the shocking customer experience we had. Suggest Also that if you can’t offer your menu communicate that to guests on arrival and don’t act like we are pests and then seek to charge us for the privilege The bakery looked alright next...

Edit: I came to dine at their cafe with my family for the first time (usually order Grab or just go to buy the croissants at the bakery), and sadly after today's expérience I am not impressed anymore. It was around 2.30pm, hardly peak lunch hour, but our food took a long time to arrive. Almost 1hr. The acoustics of the cafe are not great, with so many hard surfaces. There were a lot of echos and it amplifies sound, and you can hear everybody's conversation loudly all around. Really, really hard to have a conversation, and I'm not interested in shouting above all the other patrons. The staff were not very friendly either, some made me very irritated by telling me rudely to order by scanning the QR menu, when the item wasn't even in the QR menu. Only one lady who was working there was ok and she tried to help us and was nice about it, and rectified the situation. The food was OK only... big portions, but took such a long time, and not really that great. Its on the expensive side as well. So no... don't think I will come back again. Maybe will go to the bakery side. But the cafe side is not great at all.

I usually order Grab for their croissants and crombolloni, and several hot meals too like their pastas, but today decided to drop by the actual shop to see how its like. I came to get a takeaway for croissants. Their bakery section and restaurant section are seperated into 2 different shoplots, which was quite a nice touch. The bakery side is small but very neat and organised. So many delicious pastries on display. Everything looked so pretty. The staff is very friendly and kind, and she was just lovely to talk to. All their pastries are delicious. It's on the expensive side, but you do pay for...

What an awful experience! Went for their Xmas offering ie Champignon Roasted Chicken & Berry Jolly Fizz. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

The chicken was so dry & tasteless it was like eating cardboard. Asked for extra sauce which they charged, but instead of Champignon sauce they gave me black pepper sauce & insisted they didn't have the mushroom sauce! So why was the chicken labelled Champignon roasted if you dont even have the sauce?

The potatoes were barely baked, and the salsa was just pathetic.

The drink had no stand out taste, just sugar water swirled together.

When I went to pay asked about my membership privilege, and wanted to redeem but none of the counter staff could explain to me! They just kept pointing to my bill and asked repeatedly for me to pay! If your counter staff can't carry a conversation with your customers, maybe consider training them?

Service : Terrible. Tried to catch attention of one staff, but she was busy talking on her mobile with her mask pulled down and walking around the cafe.

Ambience : Music was so loud, you had to shout just so the staff can hear you.

Then went to get some cake next door, and first time they just smooshed my cake in paper saying boxes are for 5 pieces only! So I paid RM15 for a mess?

Biggest turn-off? Flies, flies, flies everywhere! Big, huge, ugly black ones flying around while you trying to eat and even in the cake area! I mean how dirty is your place?? Yikes!

And to take the cake literally. The spicy crab mayo croissant I bought gave me really bad food...

📍 Seven Oaks Bakery Cafe |Eco Botanic. Seven Oaks Bakery Cafe offers an exceptional dining experience, combining an aesthetic ambiance with superb customer service. The Sir Rogan Josh, a Kashmiri lamb curry, along with smoked duck udon carbonara and truffle mushroom spinach, were delectable. The yuri matcha latte, houjicha strawberry latte, and lychee rose earl grey added a unique and delightful touch. Overall, this cafe is highly recommended for its flavorful dishes and outstanding service. #johorfoodie #visitjohor #sevenoaksbakerycafe #indianfoodiejohor #fyp #visitsingapore #tempathealingjb #foodies #johorfood #foodreviewmalaysia #foodreviewjb #sivavijay @Seven Oaks Bakery Cafe
