The boss is super friendly to us. We have been visiting them for past one year. Sometimes she offer us free drinks for my family which we felt so glad to having our dinner here. There are a few waiters (not sure they are local or Korean) and others are the foreign workers.
Stepping into the shop, a lot of Kpop posters could be seen. Cute decoration and interesting wallpaper can be found too. The service crew greeted us and led us to our table. Different flavour of dakgalbi are shown in the menu and we choose the normal spicy level (Ps: there are also vegetarian dakgalbi for your option too) and rice ball.
The taste is strong for dakgalbi and rice balls help us to balance out the taste so it won't make it too spicy and salty. Food comes with large portion (We have small appetite). It is good and is acceptable. Free flow of cold mineral water in jars or cold green tea is provided.
The atmosphere is good and cozy. Air flow is not really good for me unless you love the smell of dakgalbi. Services are excellent based on my experience. Also, you could get ice cream for your dessert at the counter, Rm0.50 for one, price is vary when you are not having your meal here and just buying...
Read moreI paid my visit to tis branch again on last sunday... It's almost 1 and a half year gap... Unfortunately, the portion for 2 pax had been reduced at least half.. But the price still remains the same... It's not enough to serve 2 people... So we called a waiter over and been told that all ingredients are weighed by weighing balance... They have fixed like 300g of cabbage for 2 pax... Then the waiter did look at it and added on around 100g of cabbage for us... But still tiny and stingy portions.. Not asking them to serve portion that is equivalent to the price paid by customers, but at least the protion should be appropriate to the price customers pay... And also we ordered korean fried chicken wings.. ya... I do understand all pictures shown are for illustration purpose only while actual product may vary... But the size of the chicken wings were so much deviated from the normal size... I would say it looks rather like a chicken wings got from 童子鸡... Man generally regards the appearance of food with great interest... Frankly, the appearance of the fried chicken wings they served causes...
Read moreHave been a fan and regular customer of Uncle Jang in KL for years, first time visit for JB Sutera branch.
In overall the visit experience was just so so if compared with its branch in Mahkota Cheras and Mont Kiara.
Food wise, there is no option for pork/chicken, only chicken is available. Chicken is not as fresh, cabbage is abit too hard and the ramen is abit overcooked. The dakgalbi is not very attractive in general even with the help of cheese, can feel the msg taste very strong. They don’t provide plain water, but the tea they provided tasted very artificial.
Service wise I can feel the employees like very upset with his work, on the set menu when we ask him what is the soup provided, he answered “normal soup” . When requesting for cup also he just throw it on the table. Maybe just happen he isn’t in a good mood to work today.
Overall I think I won’t pay a second visit here unless the above points has...
