WARNING / PSA FAKE 4.8★ DO NOT EAT HERE!

As many others have mentioned, this place bribes people for 5 star reviews by offering free ice cream. In actuality, it deserves 1 star max.

In a mall with so many decent food options, this shop does not deserve to exist. This is without a doubt the worst restaurant food I've had in recent memory.

Do yourself a favour and head next door to KE REN LAI. The food is multitudes better.

ANY food establishment that has the cheek to serve COLD RICE - not once, but TWICE (after rejecting the 1st batch), needs to be shut down.

We informed the manager that the rice was literally fridge cold, he told us he will change it but we have to wait 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, and the rice came back again COLD.

Aside from the temperature, the rice was of an extremely low quality, the meats were also of a cheap grade (tough) and completely unmarinated, the soup might as well be boiled water, the cheese on the cheese gyoza was fridge cold and barely melted, the supposedly crispy gyoza was soggy, the roast pork was tough and overcooked, and even the udon was bad (low quality, kept breaking, falls apart everywhere).

Before leaving, I briefly gave some feedback to the manager, and he basically ignored me.

The people working this kitchen are simply an INSULT to their profession. The food is soul-less and made without ANY care.

Owners, if you are reading this, you should be ASHAMED...

During a recent late lunch at Bar.B.Q Plaza, I opted for the Super Refill buffet, which offers an impressive variety of items at a reasonable price point.  However, certain aspects of the dining experience were less than satisfactory. The luncheon meat had an unusual taste and texture, reminiscent of Taiwanese sausage with bits of hard fat, which was not particularly appealing. Additionally, the prawns lacked freshness; their heads detached easily upon handling, indicating subpar quality. The meats appeared to be inadequately marinated, with sauces seemingly added on top rather than being properly infused, resulting in a lack of depth in flavor.

Despite the restaurant being nearly empty post-lunch hours, service was notably slow. Used plates were left uncleared for extended periods, and food orders took longer than expected to arrive.

The ambience was further marred by the repetitive looping of the same song throughout my visit; while pleasant initially, its constant repetition became increasingly irritating over time. It’s was very bad experience in this store, me and my husband super like to eat this BBQ, we went to Paradigm Mall eat before was very nice, adorable price, fresh vegetable, corn soup… But today 12/9/2022 at morning 11:45am, we so excited to eat this again at Midvalley JB here because is nearby KSL… but is really the wrong decision that we make, a lot problem that this store have…

1. Cabbage not fresh, cutting very big, and dirty, we order two set only come one…the serving staff very blur and dun know what we say… after we tell the Chinese manager we finally get to change one.. and get one more for what we order!
2. We order one set of beef one set of chicken, they serving pork and chicken…
3. The very horrible is the cabbage after cook got bitter taste.. after feedback to manager he go check and insist said that no issue on that.. and mention maybe is the middle of the cabbage that why bitter… but good thing is got say want change for us, but we have no mood to continue eat this anymore. We paid for one set meal, and leave the restaurant… I will never come back to this outlet anymore the standard as brand of BBQ Plaza has lost… Hope BBQ Plaza can take very serious...
