Food & Service: We ordered a prawn omelette and non-spicy sweet and sour chicken. We repeatedly emphasized to the waiter (auntie), loud and clear, that it had to be completely non-spicy due to a gastric issue. She kept saying, "OK, OK," but we ended up with a different, more expensive omelette (RM24) and a spicy sweet and sour chicken. When we questioned her, she simply replied, "The prawn omelette is finished. Can't you have this different egg dish, don't you want it?" and "Sweet and sour must have a bit of spicy." This was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. What else we want to say? How would you respond? Hence we decided to stop arguing as it was clearly pointless.
Price: The prices were overpriced. RM2 for Chinese tea and RM18 for fried rice? For a place like this, it's completely unjustified. I frequently dine at 5-star hotels and high-end restaurants, so I know the difference.
Overall: The service was poor, the prices were unreasonable, the food was average, and the ambiance was mediocre. I would not recommend this place. It's definitely a "never visit...
Read moreIf you're craving authentic Chinese flavors in Desaru, Shin Wei Sin Seafood is a must-visit! Tucked nearby Amansari Hotel, this gem offers both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for any occasion. I tried their Vegetarian Singapore Fried Bihun, and boy, was it delicious! The addition of mock meats elevated the dish, and the presentation was top-notch. Service was spot on, and the Chinese tea perfectly complemented the meal. However, it's worth noting that prices are a bit steep, with my noodle and tea setting me back RM 18.30. On the bright side, the restaurant is wheelchair-friendly, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience. Overall, Shin Wei Sin Seafood gets a big thumbs up from me—I'll definitely be recommending it to...

When we pay, it was charged 800g and so we asked why didn’t they honor the 700g we agreed using their scale. They said it has to be based on the scale which they had “inside the kitchen” and it was 800g
Actually, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT CHEAT, why couldn’t u just tell us upfront. U rather wait til we spotted on bill and by then the lobster is cooked and...
