We came from Singapore planning to dine at D’Laksamana, but they were unexpectedly closed. Decided to try Aneka Desaru instead since it had a decent 4.0-star rating and wow, we were pleasantly surprised!

The food was way better than expected—honestly deserves a 4.7–4.8 rating. We ordered the Siakap Tiga Rasa and Seafood Tom Yum both were absolutely delicious, packed with flavour, and perfectly cooked. Portions were generous too.

Usually I take pics but was too hungry. Had a wonderful fulfilling meal here. Sotong goreng tepung was great the batter wasn't too thick and the squid was quite fresh. the kuay teow was well cooked, with a good balance of flavours. The kang kung sambal belacan was good, no belacan overpowering taste. The Ikan Bakar Pari was the best, the sambal that it was cooked with and the sauce it came with...

Food come in small portions, taste is not authentic Malay food taste, Kangkung Sambal Belacan has no Sambal Belacan taste at all, Sotong Kerabu doesn't taste good. Only the egg taste good, but it cost RM 8.50 for their telur udang (fried egg with prawn) when there's less than 2 prawn in the egg. Normal fried egg just cost 2.50. So it kinda cost RM 3 for...
