Pistachio Supreme Croissant = RM19.00 Taro Cromboloni = RM20.00 Chai Latte (Hot) = RM14.00
Service Charge 10% = RM5.30 SST Tax 6% = RM3.18
This Cafe was a Huge Dedicated Building. Nicely Airconditioned, the Interior was Nicely Renovated like some Faux European Cafe. There were noticeably quite alot of people even at 8.30am on a Friday Morning. Although not Full House. It got more crowded as time went on.
Ordering of Food is thru a QR Menu and if you choose the Option to Pay at Counter, you will need to pay at the Cashier first before they will process your Order.
Do try to prepare a Close Amount if you are paying Cash as I noticed the Cashier Chap got a Mild Panic Attack when I produced 2 x RM50 Notes to pay for my RM61.50 Bill. He seemed so Flustered and Stressed out. Maybe he's new.
The Rest of the Staffs were Polite and keep to themselves. I checked with a Cute Chirpy Indian Lady Staff if the Pastries are all made In-House and she confirmed it and also say they have their In-House Bakery. Impressive.
It took 3 Mins for my Chai Latte, 5 Mins for the Taro Cromboloni and 7 Mins for their Pistachio Supreme. Everything was up in 7 Mins. Not bad timing considering the amount of people when I was there.
Chai Latte (Hot) = RM14.00
This has a Faint but Noticeable Cinnamony Smell. The 1st thing your lips touch is the Top Foam and it is Very Foamy. It is Noticeably Milky but not Overly So with an Aftertaste of Chamomile.
These are the 3 Main Taste that I tasted from this Beverage: Cinnamon, Milk and Chamomile. None of them are Overly Overpowering and compliment each other together in a Nice Pleasing Mix. Not Overly Sweet. Not a bad drink.
Pistachio Supreme Croissant = RM19.00
This one is their Signature Pastry. The Top Layer is a Hardened Layer of Icing Sugar with Pistachio Flakes. Not Overly Sweet yet with a Nice Sugary Tease. The Main Croissant itself is Outside Crispy and Inside Soft and Fluffy.
The Main Highlight is the Pistachio Cream within. Its not those Molten Hot type but it is Liquidy. Abit like 流沙包, breaking this pastry apart will have this Cream flow all over. The Taste of this Cream is Prominently Milky but also Not Overly Milky. Also not Overly Sweet, the Pistachio Taste in this is Noticeable.
This Pastry is Not Overly Sweet at all. Sweetness is just nice and I really do like this, but because the Cream burst out when you break it apart. Mixing the Crispy and Soft Croissant with this Pistachio Cream was Delish.
Taro Cromboloni = RM20.00
This was a Pretty Big Sized Pastry and feels Heavy too. The Top Cream has a Sourish Sweetish Fruity Appetizing Taste. Its then Topped with Coconut Shreds which adds abit of Texture and Decor.
There are also Small Little Purple Cubes that are Tasteless. Really Tasteless and I think this is the sort of Edible Cake Decor.
Breaking apart this Pastry shows the Superb Layering that is done. There is a Yam Cream Filling within, not as much and is more Viscous and not as Flowing as the Pistachio Croissant. It has a Very Delicious Noticeable Taste of Finely Pureed Taro that is Mild and not Overpowering. Its well made and has a Good Atas Taste to it.
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At a Total Combined Price of RM61.50 (S$19.00) this place is not cheap. If we break it down, its an average of about S$6.40 per item. I'm not sure how much more cheaper is it compared to Cafes in Singapore since I don't regularly frequent such Cafes.
I feel the Pastries are Well Made and Well Designed. I do like the atmosphere of this place and most of the Staffs here are Friendly, although the Poor Chap at the Cashier going thru a Mild Panic Attack when I paid him in Cash amused me.
If you enjoy visiting such Cafes and feel that the Price here is acceptable for you, then I suppose this would be a nice place to visit. Not a place that I would want to queue hours for sure.

Read moreCame to this cute cafe yesterday evening at about 7:30pm. There's no queue and we got seated quick.
cute place, we love the vibes. we got the plain croissant, it's good but they're more known for their flavoured croissant.
I wish they have a function on their website that they'd allow people to request for less sugar for all their drinks. why? because i ordered their ajisha matcha latte (the ceremonial grade matcha from niko neko. the other version of matcha they have from this brand would be the yuri matcha powder) and the drinks are such a letdown. it's a pity because it's nice cafe with the right vibes and staff are attentive (from helping us take pic to helping us pay with card because one of us couldn't walk well due to injury), the food is out within reasonable time and the presentable looks good and table is properly set, and yet at the last moment, their matcha latte is a massive letdown.
their matcha latte is a let down for the reasons listed below: they put in a little too much milk - if they wish to be insta worthy then they would know their matcha latte colour does not look right. it's pale green. can't help but wonder if that's the big reason why all the other tables ordered their coffee and cooler, but never matcha? usage of too much sugar - I understand that malaysian loves to add in a bit more sugar in their food. but why would anyone violate ceremonial grade matcha like this? they used too much sugar, it would be as tho there's something poor about their matcha and so they ought to cover it up, and all I could taste here is sweetened milk with a side of matcha. It's a big pity that it's not genuine matcha latte! They have the proper powder to make it but truly lacks the skills to maximise it to its full potential. I rather they take it off the menu rather than sell something they do so poorly and have it put people off from returning.
Maybe this place was overhyped but I genuinely expected better. Their iced latte on the other hand is fantastic, so smooth! There's the option to either stick to double shot or reduce shot. As with all their drinks selection, do note that they have an addition cost if you want to change it to oat milk.
We ordered a main dish to try before deciding if we want to order more. We got the Shakshouka and I really can't tell if it's fusion like this is their cafe version of it or.. their cook overcooked it? their Shakshouka isn't poached eggs on top of tomato sauce, it's a block of scrambled egg with tomato sauce with 3 thin slices of sourdough bread.
Their drinks are not their strongest suit that made them popular, their croissant is. Overall their main dishes is so-so. The sides selection doesn't appeal to us so we didn't get any.
Do go if you want but don't expect it to wow you away! Really no need to make a special trip down unless you're in the area. Their drinks might look insta worthy but it's disappointing.
BUT if you get their croissant and coffee and stick to those two, then you will have a fantastic time!‼️
When a place looks nice, food looks nice and yet the food just simply doesn't sell itself, it's called stunted potential. I know it's harsh for me to say this but ppl reading these reviews...
Read moreA delightful experience though the queue.
Upon arrival, we have to scan the QR code for the queue number. We had 7 visitors before us. It was packed to the brim inside.
I was watching people ordering mostly their pastries during lunch time, which was interesting.
We got seated approximately after 25-30 mins, and inside was beautiful. The whole place had a rustic feel, with sculptures, old photos and devices on walls, and the seating area also was nicely placed into sections for more privacy.
We ordered a few dishes, the overall bill was approximately RM179+ for 4 pax, pricey but you can explore as you'll not regret, so here it goes:
Smoked Duck Masak Lemak Tagliatelle Plating was on point. The smoked duck was cooked to perfection, tender, does not have that ducky smell, and also the fat was rendered well. The pasta on the other hand was coated with masak lemak gravy which was reduced to a certain thickness I believe, which made the spiciness intensified for sure. The yellow color was warm and inviting, and the overall taste complemented the smokiness from the duck. They topped it off with some sauteed beans and chili slices, did not serve a purpose in my opinion but just to add colors. Overall, very tasty.
Soft Shell Crab Carbonara Another beautifully plated dish. We have the creamy looking pasta at the bottom with shreds of seaweed leaves, it really suited well with the dish. The soft shell crab was fried with a light tempura batter and the crispiness lasted till the last bite, it's amazing. Pasta was cooked well, al-dente. But, the quantity is a bit large for one person, you get a bit overwhelmed by the creaminess at a certain point, but that's just me. Some fish roe for color, not sure was it to give some saltiness to cut the creaminess effect, but not necessary as well.
Cajun Chicken Aglio Olio The pasta was cooked well and luckily not too greasy. Chicken was grilled to perfection, and you do get the taste of Cajun spice on it, but because they sprinkled parmesan over it, you lose it mostly. Its spiciness was mild. Overall, not much to say but an ok dish.
Spicy Korean Chicken As it should be, fried to its best, and coated well with gochujang sauce. It was juicy at each bite. Spicy but tolerable.
Jumbo Chocolate Bun Our only dessert try for the day. It was okay. I felt the filling was just whipped cream with some cocoa powder, it was bland. The pastry itself was nice and buttery. It was topped off with some cream cheese, sprinkled with cocoa also I believe and a chocolate rod. I did not really enjoy it.
As for drinks, we ordered a few refreshers or quenchers whatever you call it. It was generally ok, as it's supposed to be but they were presented daintily, very photogenic.
Service was fast and waiters were friendly. Maybe one thing I found odd was the placement of the toilet next to the kitchen, in terms of hygiene it's a bit questionable, but I believe they keep it to high standards as you see the crowd, you can't deny their popularity.
Do give them a try, and stand by...
