We went to McDonald KULAI DT to buy breakfast for a family of 9 people by the drive-thru. Our order was taken at approximately 8.45 am by not so polite order taker (lady) and we got our coffee only at the pickup counter. As we missed one order we went back on the queue and ordered one more set addition and the early order was not ready and told to wait as usual by the outlet Manager. At 9.07 am we parked and waited, at 9.22 am a lovely sweet lady team member came to give us our cold beverages and very politely said that we have to wait 10 more minutes as they run out of the product. So we patiently waited and enjoy our cold beverages. And at 9.50 am past 10 minutes as promised we finally got our breakfast by other lovely polite lady team member came to hand over the breakfast and waited patiently as we checked our orders. We left home and found that out of 4 cups coffee 2 cups coffee was extremely diluted and taste like slightly bitter coffee. Here are my thoughts on this particular outlet. The lady who took the order to be more polite as that is her job that she takes up and she gives the first impression to the customers during this pandemic and MCO periods where DINE-IN is prohibited. Secondly, kindly have sufficient products prepared on-peak period and if it's running out kindly tell the customers the actual duration time, as we waited 18 minutes although we were told to wait 10 minutes. Thridly, the production / service team should be alert to check the quality of food and beverage before its being packed and serve to the customers, as its not a easly journey to come back to change the product during this difficult period. However our compliments the ladies at the following contact points. 1) Cashier 2) Pick up counter 3) The lady who served the cold beverages and 4) The lady who finally served us the entire order.Keep up the good job ladies ❤. Lastly, we are very regular patrons at the McDonald Kulai DT, hence we sincerely hope to see better service from the production...
Read moreSubject: Feedback on Unpleasant Staff Experience at McDonald's Autocity Kulai
Dear McDonald's Management,
I would like to share my recent experience at your Autocity Kulai branch, which occurred a few weeks ago. During my visit, I ordered a meal that included a burger, fries, and a beverage from McCafé, opting for the table service as provided.
While the overall experience was acceptable, I regret to say that one of the staff members—an individual assigned to table cleaning—demonstrated behavior that I found to be unprofessional and lacking in courtesy. This staff member, who appears to have a physical disability, spoke to us in an impolite manner, insisting that McCafé orders must be collected at the counter, without any attempt at kindness or respectful communication.
Although we tried to remain understanding, her continued behavior made the situation uncomfortable. Throughout our meal, she persistently stared at our table with a rather unpleasant and hostile expression, which left us feeling unwelcome.
I fully respect and support the inclusion of all individuals in the workforce, regardless of physical ability. However, basic standards of customer service—such as respect, politeness, and a positive attitude—should be upheld by every staff member. Sympathy and respect are mutual; they must be earned through actions and behavior.
I hope the management will take this feedback constructively and consider providing additional training for this staff member to improve her approach to customer interactions. Alternatively, she may be better suited to a back-of-house role where customer engagement is limited.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this matter. I hope to see improvements in...
Read more26/7/2025 2:46pm, Dear management, I am very shocked by the service of your McDonald's in Kulai. How can the waiter treat customers so rudely? Does the manager condone this behavior? My family had originally ordered, received the number plate and went to the seat (322) to wait for the food to be served. As a result, the male waiter who was supposed to serve the food walked around and didn't see us. I saw him, and I raised the number plate to signal. When he brought it, I nodded politely. As a result, the waiter scolded us as soon as he opened his mouth, saying that the number plate should be placed in the corner of the table (green circle), not in the middle of the table (red circle). Too funny, right? I have eaten in so many years and in so many McDonald's, this is the first time I heard such a thing. The number plates of other McDonald's are placed in the middle of the table, so that the waiter can see them at a glance. Why is this one in Kulai so special? This is the worst service of all the McDonald's I have eaten in 👎 Learn more from the McDonald's opposite Ikea and see their service level. If your training here is not good, go there to learn.
Please take this seriously and re-evaluate your service level. If you do not believe what I have said above, please check the CCTV replay, timeline and our table number I...
