Well, folks, let me tell you about my little lunchtime adventure at Restoran Kang Wei, near Toppen Mall. It's one of those local eatery that might have you feeling like a bit of an outsider. I mean, we were the only foreigners there during lunchtime, but that's okay โ I'm all for trying new things!
We decided to go all in and ordered Wat Tan Hor and minced pork noodles, thinking it would be an epic culinary journey. Well, let's just say the tasteless sensation was real, and not in a good way.
The dishes lacked the flavorful punch that you'd expect from a place with so much local character. It was like the flavor train missed the station entirely. So, as much as I love exploring new spots, I don't think I'll be coming back to Restoran Kang Wei for another round.
But hey, the fun part about food adventures is that sometimes you win, and sometimes you end up with a tasteless lunch that makes for a good story. And that's just the way the noodle...
