Was walking by when I caught a whiff of the aroma of the char kway teow. As I walked nearer, the rhythmic clanging of the wok called out to me.
We ordered a play of char kway teow. They ran out of kway teow and only had mee but it was delicious. The wokhey was good and the taste was spot on.
We also had the laksa. It was more a curry gravy than laksa. It came with half an egg, a fishball, a bean curd skin and another bean curd skin stuffed with fish paste. Value for money and the curry was aromatic enough. Would have preferred the curry to be thicker but for the price (RM6)...

Char kway teow was a really long wait. Unique style of cooking, not really to my liking. Feels like a pad Thai in black sauce.
