I will start to share what we ordered 1st. Roti Canai Kosong Econ noodles (dark) Mee siam (dry) Toast with butter and kaya Deep fried dumplings Deep fried vegetable fritters Teh C siew dai (less sweet) Kopi siew dai (less sweet)
The queue was long and we waited for about 20mins before able to get a table. We were informed that we will need to wait for the roti canai so we ordered other foods to compliment while waiting. Noodles was average, nothing to shout about. Mee siam was tasty and spicy. Toast would have been much better if there were more butter and kaya. Personally felt it was a little bland but the toast was really toasty and cripsy. U would have thought it was charcoal toasted. Fried dumplings were meh. But the deep fried vegetable fritters was reall good and very popular. Most tables were waiting for it to be ready and rush to pick it up in small plates. Pairs really well with their sambal! Teh C was a little diluted and the kopi might have been overpowered by the condense milk 😅 Now for the limelight drum roll The Roti Canai was really good! Cripsy yet fluffy. The aroma from the dough was alluring enough to taste good on its own.yup, we tried it, tested and proven 😁. The gravy was on a sweet side (quite similar to lotong gravy) but pairs really well with the roti canai. We even added their sambal to it. really well worth the wait especially on a chilly rainy day 🥰 Note: we were here on a Saturday, probably hence...
Read moreThe problem with this place is that it is always crowded. Now, the place crowded is not because the business is good, is because the person that makes the roti prata is just one person, ie slow. In another words, turnover is slow. If you head inside, you will find most tables are waiting, no food on the table. Yes, the roti prata is nice, but so is the other stalls elsewhere. Basically the roti prata is crispy. And how do you make it crispy? Fry longer lor. And the extra frying time is causing the backlogs of orders. What's usually takes 1min to make a single piece of roti prata, they take longer like 3min just to make it crispy. Typical in jb, just about everywhere the roti prata is nice, cannot be too bad. Just imagine yourself queuing for a chicken rice for 30min, would you do that? And while you are waiting for 30min for few piece of roti prata, you will be hungry, you will be ordering something else like the mee Siam, ngoh hiang etc. This is how they upsell and cross sell you for their inefficiency. Almost feels like they are doing it...

I’ve heard about this place for a while, and finally decided to check it out. First day I came — the line was soooo long I chickened out and left 😂 But I came back the next morning, determined — and boom, only waited 5 minutes. Total win!
Let me tell you, this place is packed for a reason. People aren’t just queueing because it’s trendy — they’re actually here to eat. And once you taste the food, you’ll understand why.
The roti canai is super crispy, light and fluffy inside. I had 3 kosong, 1 telur, and 1 ham & cheese (yes, HAM & CHEESE, and it's really good!). Also grabbed a packet of nasi lemak with ikan and a plate of fried carrot cake — this one’s a must-try, trust me.
Drinks were solid too — had the iced coffee and hot milk tea. Not too sweet, just nice.
Best part? We ordered a whole table of food, and the total was just RM35. Like seriously?! In 2025?! That’s wild....
