My son went to this indoor playground to play and decided that it was fun to lie in the “sand pit”. To our shock, we found out that 2 of the “sand bits” which are the size of green beans entered his right ear canal and 1 entered his left ear canal. The clinic GP and A&E GP could not remove it. During another visit to the hospital this morning, the E&T specialist used suction to remove 1 bead from each side (see photo) but the 1 in his left ear canal requires day surgery under sedation to be removed because it is too close to his ear drum and was too painful for my son when the hospital tried sucking it out.
Pls use more child friendly materials for your sand pit. We have been to so many indoor playgrounds before and this is the first time this happened. You may reach out to us if you wish to see evidence of our hospital bills and offer some compensation to us.
Parents pls beware and don’t let your kids play in the sand pit because toddlers and babies won’t...
Read moreStar Kids at Aeon Tebrau is a great spot for little ones to burn off some energy while parents get a breather. The play area is bright, colourful, and offers a good variety of climbing structures and toys to keep kids entertained for a solid half day. Entry fees are reasonable (65 RM for child, 15 for adult weekdays), making it a convenient go-to for families especially for the myriad for food options right outside. Well done Aeon Mall!
Staff were friendly and generally helpful, though cleanliness could be slightly improved in some corners of the play area, as there were carton boxes left in some areas. Also, it would be nice to have functioning timers on the obstacle course, which the kids felt disappointed by their broken down state during our visit.
Overall, a solid 4-star experience — safe, fun, and wallet-friendly. Worth a visit if you’re shopping at Aeon Tebrau with...
