Shang Bar & Restaurant Eco Palladium — Restaurant in Johor

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shanga bar located at Eco Palladium in Johor Bahru, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience.

Firstly, let's talk about the food. I had the Creamy Fried Chicken Chop and the Black Pepper Fried Chicken Chop, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The creamy sauce on the Creamy Fried Chicken Chop was rich and flavorful, while the black pepper sauce on the Black Pepper Fried Chicken Chop had just the right amount of kick. It was evident that the chefs at Shanga bar take great pride in their culinary skills. I would definitely rate the food a solid 5 out of 5.

Moving on to the drinks, I must mention that the mocktails at Shanga bar were simply superb. Each sip was refreshing and packed with flavor. They were the perfect accompaniment to my meal and added an extra level of enjoyment to the dining experience.

Now, let's talk about desserts. I had the pleasure of trying the Opera Cake, and oh my, it was a slice of heaven. The layers of sponge cake, coffee buttercream, and rich chocolate ganache were expertly crafted and blended together harmoniously. It was simply delicious and left me craving for more.

Worst of the restaurant. Very unpleasant experience. First of all today is Thursday when we reach we saw the signboard states it doesn't operate on Thursday, however we saw lights inside and decided to explore since we were there. To our suprise there was a hidden door which lead to the actual restaurant which we ain't aware. Nobody was downstairs to guide or any signage to direct the way. It happened that someone came out from the hidden door . We knew it was there. After we are seated we send the order thru the app , there was only a couple chit chatting beside us almost finished their food. Nobody else. However to our surprise the food didn't arrive so we asked the waiting staffs to check , there reply was another 10 min , and that's 840pm! 40 min of waiting even without someone else Infront of us . When the food finally take centre stage which I order the Japanese curry rice . The curry gravy was saltiet thing apart from my sweat. I informed the waiter regarding this . He bring the food to the kitchen and tadaaa the magic began . He disappeared for another 15 min too, without informing what's going on whether to exchange the dish or get another new set which normally a restaurant will do . That's the last straw and I decided to cancel the order. All and all it took about an hour . It takes a hungry man to be an angry man . Yes you did it ....

My first time coming here for my birthday dinner, it was an unpleasant experience here. The service was suck, your female waitress with light tone hair color was rude and arrogant. I call for the waiter using the platform to order but there’s was no response from the waiter and even i wave my hand to her she act like didn’t saw me. After i tried so many times to call the waiter she came but didn’t ask what’s the problem, just come and see then immediately leave. And also the waiting time here was ridiculous, after order i waited for almost 20 minutes for a mango mulled tea. The other drink that i order was lychee chiller this drink came in after order but the mango mulled tea was waiting forever to come plus the waiter was just ignoring us.And also i requested for payment the bill came very fast but after i gave the female waitress my card the card was never being returned to me after the payment, i need to go over to the bar counter to ask for my card and found it was thrown on the bar counter with the receipt and no one was noticing ! This was very serious, if my card was being stolen would the staff be responsible for this? It was a bad experience for dining here, i think i would never came...
