@redmansion_balakong is a Cantonese Cuisine restaurant. The seafood was extremely fresh. Dishes were cooked well, flavours were delicious. I tried the following dishes:

🌟Braised Shark Fins Gravy Soup, that was soulfully satisfying, rich umami flavour in every sip. 🌟Roasted Shatin Pigeon, looks small but is meaty, juicy with slight gaminess. 🌟Garlic Steamed Fresh Jumbo Scallop, that is sweet, and succulent garnished with aromatic fried garlics. 🌟Sweet & Spicy Sea Prawn, can’t get any better than that, succulent king prawn in savoury sauce. 🌟Hong Kong Kailan cooked in two styles, the stem blanched and lightly seasoned with soy sauce while the leaves shredded, fried crisp garnished with aromatic crisp white bait. 🌟Braised Noodles with assorted mushrooms topped with crispy pork lards. 🌟Stir fried Hong Kong Kailan, black fungus, gojiberry served in delicious gingery sauce. 🌟Red Bean Pancake, can’t get more authentic than this, crisp exterior with aromatic sesame seeds, sandwiched with slightly sweet red bean paste, so decadent. 🌟Osmanthus Jelly, the best I have eaten, refreshing, wobbly texture with delicate floral finish. The ambiance is elegant with attentive service.

First time having a bad service in the restaurant. We had a birthday celebration after the meal, then the PIC told us that they need chairs for the coming customers. We are okay to give them few chairs first but never expected they took the whole tables chairs. We stood up and ate our cakes. The two tables next to us also said they won’t come back to visit this restaurant again after seeing how they treated us. After you eat, they won’t respect you as customers anymore. Chased us to bill, chased us to cut cake too. Food is so so and price is on the high side. They will keep recommending you to order...

Outstanding lunch at Red Mansion Private Kitchen in Balakong 2 days ago! Each dish was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The steamed fish was tender, enhanced with vibrant herbs and chili for an extra zing. The greens were fresh and provided a perfect, crunchy contrast.
