The desserts are decent but nothing to shout about. The service though is quite appalling. We arrived first but a big party were standing in front of the door so we couldn’t go in. We’re forced to enter after them. Then they went up to take a seat but we prefer the seat downstairs.
We ordered in around a minute while the big group just went up to get their seats. The staff actually told us we don’t get to order the Beancurd because they anticipate the big group is going to order it as well. Wow, that logic and reasoning. At the end, she said “We’ll ask the big group to give one bowl to you.” How rude and distasteful can this reply be?? I just brush it off because it might be the staff’s first job. In all cafes and restaurants, whoever order first should get the item. So what if the big group decides to take 15 minutes to decide? Do I have to wait for them as well? Maybe they’re just inexperienced so be it.
Then I asked the staff it’s only 8.30pm while they close at 10pm. Why do they run out so fast? She actually replied me saying it runs out at the same time everyday. C’mon, that’s a weak excuse. If you know it runs out at the same time everyday, reflect to the management and amp up the production?? What’s the point of going if their star product is unavailable wayyy before closing?
I won’t be returning anytime soon and it’s quite hard for me to recommend to anyone. Let’s hope my next visit will...
Read moreThe food here is great, the material that they used were fresh. We ordered chicken chop, fish and chips, and pesto.
The chicken chop is juicy and comes with unbelievable good tasting fries, I think they are making the fries from fresh potato, it's crispy with right amount of potato taste, it almost steal the show from the main.
Fish and chip is nice too, with fries made from sweet potato, although it didn't taste that good compared to the potato fries.
The pesto was very good, we liked it so much. Not to mention its potato chips is another show stealer!
We ordered Taufufa with gula melaka and it tastes so good, the taufufa is made from soy bean imported from Canada, it's very smooth and fresh, and when it matched with gula melaka, you just have to try it.
The soya milk is also made from the fresh soy bean imported from Canada, another must try.
The place is nicely renovated, its first floor consists of only dining area with the kitchen at the ground floor, which makes it very spacious and comfortable to dine in. Its toilet is very clean, we noticed the sink is dried wherever we used it, it looks like they have very high hygiene procedures to match.
Also we noticed their staffs did thorough sanitizing whenever a customer left, which we think is a plus point considering the covid is still around.
They have a claw machine which you can get a token to play with for every RM60 spent,...
Read moreOrdered 3 main course (spagheti, noodle, fish & chip), 1 cake 1 tofu fa, take the soya set which is 2 big 2 small bottle. Used to drink their original soya but this time we try out 4 different taste soya (belgium chocolate, coffee, oat and earl grey). Gotta said still the original taste is better. not a fans for other flavors. The foods are pretty delicious and i love my noodle very much!
Our total bill worth to get 4 tokens for the claw crane. My kids are so excited about it. The cashier boy did mentioned to only press one time and release. but 2 of our tokens was wasted even we were press it one time only. the claw grab half way in the air. the other 2 times successfully grab the toy but not able to reach the exit hole as the claw is loose. Big disappointment we get as I tot we spent rm200+ at least we can get a small fluffy toy for the kids. When i told the cashier that I pressed one time and it grab in the half way, idk why the cashier keep on insisted that we press twice. Seems like its so hard for him to understand my statement : I've pressed one time only. if the claw crane is that sensitive I think owner you should get someone to look into this matter. Or the claw crane just a bait for parents to fall for it?
The bill is high in Balakong area, but I guess its worth the price since the soya bean they use is...
