Had dinner here on 23/5/2022. Service was exceptional - the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and also helped recommend what was good on the menu. They also helped us move our cutlery without fuss when it started to drizzle slightly. We took the RM72 pork belly + marinated pork ribs + 1 soup set. This was a bit much for 2 pax.
There are at least 10 side dishes (banchan) (eg sweet anchovies with nuts, fish cake, apple salad, pickled onions, mung bean sprouts, radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, stir fried potatoes and seasoned dried seaweed (this one was unique and slightly sweet and very tasty!). However, to me, the banchans were lacking in quality somewhat. I've definitely made and tasted better ones. But the banchans are all-you-can-eat so shouldn't complain haha.
There are 3 soups at RM19 (included in your RM72 set) you can choose from. Kimchi, spicy seafood tofu, or seafood. We chose the spicy seafood tofu soup and it had a very generous helping of tofu and seafood eg clams and prawns.
The marinated pork and pork belly were very, very good. Went well with the dipping sauces. The bbq was a bit pricey but worth it. I will go back to review other ala carte dishes next time.
Update: Came here again on 11 November 2022.
Banchans were definitely better. I think they switch it up and I just had some that I didn't prefer the first time. Had the herbal chicken and pajeon. Pajeon was nice but thick. It got a bit too filling haha. The herbal chicken was very, very good but a bit bland. They do give you salt for dipping though. Water is self-service near the entrance of the restaurant.
No complaints about the service. It is tops. Staff are friendly, greet you and seat you as you approach, and are quick to help you out when needed. Gave them some tips at the counter as they deserved it.
Parking can be a bit of a problem though so come earlier if you can. Can be a bit stuff inside so I chose to sit outside. It's covered even...
Read moreHad dinner here with two friends. We ordered 5 dishes and the total bill came up to RM180 for 3 pax. The food was quite good, but we couldn’t finish everything, so we decided to tapao the leftovers. There were also some leftover free side dishes , just a small amount, and I packed them together with our unfinished food. While doing so, one of the waitresses stared at me and said something I couldn’t quite hear. Later, my friend told me she said the free dishes cannot be taken away. Honestly, I don’t think it’s a big deal since the food would just be thrown away anyway. I didn’t take a lot, just a little bit of the leftover side dishes. But what made me really uncomfortable was that the whole situation drew attention and other customers started looking at me — which I don’t think should have happened. I understand if there’s a policy, but it should be communicated more politely or clearly next time. It really affected the...

3 Star for boss and foods -The boss is friendly and the service provided by boss is excellent. The food is delicious, especially the marinated pork rib with special sauce, which I have ordered 7 times and is a must have for me. The pork is well-balanced in terms of fat and lean, providing a satisfying chewy texture.
No Star for staff However, the attitude and service of the workers were terrible. When they asked us to change seats, it felt like herding a dog to another spot. The service personnel at the counter were extremely rude and used vulgar language. I hope these issues can be addressed. This was my seventh and final visit to this restaurant. As a customer, I just want to enjoy the food and relax during the meal. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff has deterred me from considering...
