Hello owner, apa significant sangat nak tutup parking and open table dekat your parking lot? Not in my place to advise but you have upper stairs can be fully occupied. We came 3 times to be disappointed. Previous visits was pleasant but not this 3 times (May-June 2025). We came around 9pm+ can see all the parking were blocked but still managed to park outside. Staff said will close for order around 10pm ish. Still able to dine in but didn’t manage to park in your compound. We came around 10pm ish the other day and told it’s closed and reopen at 11.30pm. Sorry you have lost us at this because we have just finished our work and going to have late dinner. Just have to have dinner at other place that night. We came in for dinner at 9.15pm today 28 June 2025, and see ample parking in your compound. I had just parked and adjusting my car but just to be greet by your staff said the parking is closed and i have to park outside. If it wasn’t to bring my mother in law all the way from Kuantan to dine in at your restaurant, I will just left but I decided to parked outside and dine in.
I told your staff about my complaints but they were very defensive and not even a simple apologies given. Your staff even told that they have rights to close the parking and told me to park outside just because it’s your compound and it’s paid by Cartel Coffeeshop. What? Did your staff taken me for a fool? I came as a paying customer and not a beggar!. They even told me about this new parking arrangement was done around 3 weeks but not a simple A4 laminated signage at the front? How do you expect customer to know about this new arrangement? Questioning the customer like it’s their fault!
I even heard your staff dissatisfied about my complaint behind my back! Please train your staff the proper hospitality and service manner! You guys are not running a tomyam warung tepi jalan.
So again the question, why? There was no sign saying the parking is closed after 9pm. Other customers managed to parked after us , is there a double standard for parking???What is your reason to do business like this? Sorry this would be my last visit to Cartel...
Read moreI must say dining at Cartel Coffee was an experience to remember. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to a charming old pub with its rustic décor and cozy ambiance. The warm, dim lighting and wooden accents truly captured the essence of old pub minus the alcohol and where every dish is halal.
What truly set Cartel Coffee apart, however, was its culinary offerings. The menu boasted a range of dishes with an authentic Western taste that left my taste buds dancing with delight. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, using the quality ingredients to bring out those distinct flavors that we often associate with Western cuisine.
The highlight of the evening was not just the food, but the vibrant ambience that enveloped the entire restaurant. Laughter, clinking glasses, and the hum of conversations created an energetic yet comfortable atmosphere. It felt like a place where friends could gather to unwind after a long day or celebrate a special occasion. The rooftop dining area was a particular standout, especially at night, though it's worth noting that it is open to smokers.
The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, adding to the overall excellent experience. Whether you're a fan of classic pub fare or simply looking to explore local dishes, this restaurant offers a memorable journey through flavors and ambiance.
In conclusion, Cartel Coffee successfully marries the charm of an old pub with an authentic Western culinary experience and modern vibrant and inviting setting. You even have two robots greeting you at the entrance. If you're seeking a dining adventure that transcends the ordinary, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this...
Read moreI recently visited Cartel Coffeeshop, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere to dine in.
However, my daughter did mention that the carbonara pasta was a bit too rich and creamy for her taste. So if you’re not a fan of heavy cream-based dishes, you might want to consider other options on the menu.
We arrived at the restaurant around 10:15 PM and parked our car inside the restaurant’s designated parking area. But just five minutes later, around 10:20 PM, a waiter asked us to move the car outside because they were setting up dining tables in the parking lot for customers who prefer to eat outdoors. Apparently, the indoor dining area closes at 11:00 PM.
We kindly requested to stay parked as we promised to finish our meal quickly and leave before 11:00 PM. Thankfully, they allowed it after we explained our situation.
In our opinion, the restaurant could consider blocking the inner parking area from 10:00 PM onwards if it needs to be used for additional seating. At the same time, we understand it’s a tough decision since the outside parking area is often full.
Overall, great food and service, just a little hiccup with the parking...
