Went there on 11 April 2021 for dinner with the missus. Left feeling full, but not satisfied.
The good: Mushroom soup was on point.
The could-be-improved areas: Waiter should have asked me how i would like my tenderloin steak - medium well would have been nice, instead of well done. Ended up a bit on the tough/chewy side. The mushroom sauce really needs serious looking into - was a bit too sour as compared to mushroom sauce i've had elsewhere. The butter for the corn, i'd recommend using salted butter like Anchor brand. The one i had was a bit bland, tho the corn was nice, soft and juicy. Missus had grilled salmon - sadly, salmon lacked any hint of flavour - again, i'd recommend upping the spice mix or herb butter mix. The mango smoothie i had tasted of something like vape juice - i think it was some mango cordial, but still, the effect was a bit disconcerting.
I've been living in cheras since 1999, have always wanted to try this restaurant, was quite sad my first time after all these years was not so pleasurable.
Will i return? I dunno, I am keen to try out their other stuff like the fish n chips, the chicken chop, lemon chicken etc.
If the second visit goes south too, then, i'll be looking elsewhere for western food in Cheras.
For the record, everyone's tastebuds are different, might be some of the stuff wasn't ngam with me. Your mileage may vary.
I always believe in giving anything a chance or a try, before passing judgement or making a final decision....

The main star of the dish - the chicken taste good, the lamb chop (not in the photos) is good as well, you can tell it's well prepared. The side dish though, I feel that they are very... rushed, fries are oily but it's not a big concern, the corn wasn't grilled or roasted, they were either steamed or boiled which make them kinda bland. Coleslaw and mushroom soup are fine. We ordered a separate basket of garlic bread because garlic breads supposedly go well with mushroom soup but the garlic breads were too soggy and soft, they weren't toasted nicely before they were served which is a bummer. If you only care about the meat, it's definitely worth checking out this place, really hope they will do better on the side dishes since I really like the atmosphere of this place. Speaking of atmosphere, if the weather is great, I recommend checking out the place around 6:45pm before sunset, the view is great. Place is quite close to highway but it wasn't noisy at all so sitting outdoor is perfectly fine which is nice. In term of service, this place does offer good service, they seem to have a lot of staffs walking around ready to assist...
This place usually slips my mind as it is too close to home for a weekend dining outing. I was not disappointed deciding to come back here after close to a decade. Service was excellent and the speed was admirable as I was served within 15 minutes of placing my order. I opted for the chicken Maryland with a side of mushroom soup and belacan fried rice. I have to say that although I was torn between the stellar wok hei of the fried rice and the amazing spread within my Chicken Maryland, the platter took the spotlight as it was fulfilling with an old-school mix of a hearty slab of breaded fried chicken chop, sausage, fries, coleslaw and a breaded fried banana! Overall for a neighbourhood Western dining spot, it definitely did not disappoint and I left feeling very fulfilled and nostalgic. A second visit is planned...
