Came here for breakfast and we ordered a few things, the hainanese chicken rice, the signature nasi lemak, toasted bread varieties and some drinks to get a good overall view of what they have to offer.
On first impressions, ambience is nice, place is clean even though it's busy. Most of the staff are quick and responsive. However, there is one staff (male, black cap) that wasnt particularly attentive and attempts to pretend we're not there or doesn't give service to us. All the other staff was great though.
Food
Hainanese chicken rice (4/5) Pretty good, well seasoned, heavy on ginger garlic paste and chicken is seasoned to right temps. Rice is fragrant. Although the portions could be improved a little as it is on the smaller side.
Signature nasi lemak (3/5) The sambal paste is abit too oily for my liking but it's passable overall. Wouldn't have it again though.
Toasted bread/polo bun (5/5)
Polo bun was great, outside crispy, inside soft, butter tasted good, fragrant. Although abit expensive I think considering that it was tasty, we will let it slide. Toasted bread also was standard, quite good, np here.
Drinks (3/5) Just your average tasting, standard kopitiam drink. We had the milk tea and herbal tea.
Overall, considering the price and place I'd say this place is average. Something I'd have if I was there and not feeling too bad but nothing to shout about or...

White coffee is decent, ordered 1 that's hot & unsweetened & another that's cold & less sweet. Both tasted decent and didn't taste like powdery/processed white coffee powder.
Food is considered decent 👍🏻 Though full house, the food reached rather fast & no mistakes on orders / instructions .
Toasted kaya butter is good & crunchy when hot.
Scallion oil Handmade noodles is good, Hainan chicken dry curry noodles don't have a wow factor, Fried chicken nasi lemak is kinda meh (unflavored pickled vege, mushy but fragrant rice, didn't prefer the...
Read moreI ordered nasi lemak with the offer top up rm1 for drink (coffee, milk tea & herbal tea). When I want to pay time they charged me the ala carte price. I enquired further then the staff only told me when we ordered in the system, need to click on the breakfast voucher on top. I got enquired and tell the staff I want to get the top up set offer before but they didn't help me to change/guide me to change in the system. Very poor customer service with the unhelpful staff! Even though food is OK but I won't be...
