Ice sweet sour pork - every table had this signature dish. It was good - sweet sour crispy and cold. Recommended.
The Kurobata pork belly was good but not particularly outstanding for the premium price.
Ice vegetable salad was nicely executed with a light tangy sauce which complemented the crunchy and cold vegetable very well.
Their other signature vegetable, Claypot kangkung was good too but not particularly outstanding in taste.
The Chiangmai seafood which has prawns, squid and clams in a sour and spicy garlic sauce was good but a little mild compared to proper Thai restaurants. More lime and chilli would have helped.
Seafood pheonix ball were salted egg yolks wrapped in a seafood paste and deep fried. This was good.
The Minced Pork with lard rice was fragrant and tasty and is recommended.
We also had a fried lotus paste pancake which was sweet and crispy. Recommended too.
Overall food was well executed and good quality. Will be back to try...

There were five of us and the bill was over RM900. We hear that the chef is Hainanese. Kudos to the...
Read moreDiscovered this legendary restaurant who’s been operating in Mahkota Cheras for many years. As the name suggests the food here is legendary for its good taste & probably above average prices. So far most of the food we tried here on two occasions were tasty & good portion. I especially loved the Chicken rice, pork chop & nyonya seafood. The dishes were very appetizing and it’s difficult to avoid rice. The claypot kangkung probably one of those that are just regular. On weekends and special occasions it’s probably best to make prior reservations. Parking is easy during less peak hours. Service is fairly prompt...
