Famous for sotong bakar, which taste good. Be prepared to bring cash as they are cash only policy.
Price for sotong is a bit high (RM 28/set) during low season due to low supply of sotong.
It cost nearly RM50 for 2 person when you choose sotong set during low season (we had sotong set, talapia merah set, coconut shake and teh tarik madu), otherwise RM 30++ for set for 2 person. Too bad the kerang sambal (RM 10) is sold out when we came.
The famous teh tarik madu is just a (rather big) normal teh tarik so it's not really worth your RM 4.5, better choose Coconut Shake (RM 4) or Dragon Fruit Shake (RM 6).
Come in early (they open from 10.30 AM until 3.30 PM instead of 11 AM - 4 PM) if you're really hungry cause the queue can be a bit long. Though they have a system that quite fast in taking the order.
Seats are limited, they have round tables in the middle for family / gathering, the rest are 4 seat table.
Parking is available at the side of the restaurant, but it can be really hot during the day. There's an extra parking lot at the back of a house (probably the owner's house).
Overall it's worth to come to kajang...
Read moreI visited this place for the first time in early December (Sunday around 12 pm for lunch, take-away). They ask you to find your table before ordering because they’ll need your table number. My order was ready in 15-20 minutes. The honey iced tea for take-away wasn’t as good as the dine-in version—no bubbles and the taste was a bit off in terms of kaw and no honey sweetness (maybe they gave me regular iced tea by mistake?). I was lucky to find parking as someone left just as I arrived, even though it was a peak time. The prices were a bit high, and the taste was just okay. The meal came with kuah lemak, sambal/kuah asam (both seemed the same?), and sambal merah that tasted like sambal bilis. I would have preferred sambal belacan. They also served ulam and rice. The sotong bakar was pricey at RM55, but it was quite large (would likely cost RM25-30 at other places). Overall, it was a nice experience, but I probably won’t return since the taste didn’t match the price. service was...
Read moreEasy menu, delicious food, very2 nice gravy and friendly server. Price. Some may say a lil pricey on certain menu but overall, its alright actually.
Had a chance to visit this place last Saturday. The route to the place is easy. From Exit Kajang, its a bout 2km away to Sg. Ramal Dalam. Easy parking, just opposite the restaurant but be mindful cause the space is limited. You may park by the roadside at your own risk.
Once you arrive, book a table and queue. Make sufe u have a table number. The food queue is fast if you have decided upfront. Waiting period is less tha 10mins. So hassle free.
They will provide you with the menu of your choice. We had the fried bawal, grilled squid and duck kam heong. The food is so good, the portion was just right. The air asam, the kuah lemak and the sambal were on point. Couldnt ask for better. Highly recommended for grilled...
