Dear Hj. Farouk ! I'm a regular customer to this restaurant since it opens way back in 2011. In a week 4 or 5 times I will come here with my wife and son for breakfast or lunch or early dinner. I've never gave my reviews and I've been keeping my negative reviews because I honestly admit that there's more good thing overshadowing some slacking thing that I sometimes came across. Quite often I noticed that your morning plain rice is a brought over from last night or yesterday's unfinished/unsold rice. Being a old timer of 73 years old I can know or differentiate between a freshly cooked rice and a leftover rice (nasi sejuk) that you all just warmed up for the morning customers. The same thing goes for some of the dishes.... looks mouthwatering behind the glass showcase but not tasty as it should be. I don't want to complain to your staff or your "joki' or your supervisor because they're all nice to me and recognized me like I too recognized them like Supervisor Mujib or those junior to him. I even recognized your brothers if they're around. I hope you'll look into this issue...
Read moreModerately recommended. A nice and clean restaurant, but overated food and drinks.
We tried the nasi kandar (white rice, mixed gravy, black beef rendang, fried cabbage and fish roe soaked in curry). While the fish roe was good, the rest of the dishes were only above average.
We have tasted better nasi kandar in Kedah, which has a much more profound taste of curry and other spices.
This restaurant claims to serve the best teh tarik, as stated in the banner hung inside the premise. We didn't order the teh tarik. But, ordered the iced milk tea instead. To be frank the iced milk tea fell short of our expectations. The taste of the tea was too thin, diluted by too much water added.
Price wise, it is within the low and mid range. Service was fast and the staff were professional. The toilets are clean. This restaurant has also installed 10 self service microwaves for customers to reheat their food.
Overall, the food was just ok and I don't think it is worth...
Read moreWell.. out of 10 i can give 6 scores. I have taste almost all of the dishes in the menu from 6 visits. The food taste good but not delicious. Dishes served cold in the evening or even u are early. The plain rice or Briyani also serve cold and you have to facilitate yourself to use the microwave provided, what.. the.. for me the most failed is fried chicken, they peel off chicken skin n fried dead dry. When its cold you will not taste chicken but dry wood. Believes me i eat dry wood before. The best dish for me is Kurma Kambing and their Chicken tandoori. Easily score 9.5 but somehow i try it maybe the cook put extra salt and it was salty a bit. A must try dishes. For lamb shank it is not worth it for it was small n with a big price tag. Eat at your own risk and dont be blinded by the long que. No worry it...
