Texas Chicken Petronas Alor Setar DT — Restaurant in Kedah

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I experienced at your drive-thru on 23rd June at approximately 10PM.

When I arrived at the drive-thru, I noticed a skittle placed in front of the ordering counter, which gave the impression that it was closed. Assuming this, I proceeded to the cashier window and tried to get the attention of your staff by waving. Several employees were inside, and although one of them noticed me and even smiled, no one came to assist. He simply disappeared, and the rest continued to ignore me.

Feeling dismissed, I decided to make another round through the drive-thru lane. On my own initiative, I moved the skittle aside and only then did someone respond through the drive-thru speaker. When I asked why no one attended to me and why there was a skittle placed there, the staff simply replied that there had been an electrical trip earlier. What upset me more was that no apology was offered—neither then, nor later at the cashier window.

The same staff member who finally took my order later served me at the cashier window. He did so with a visibly tight expression and still no courtesy or apology for the earlier inconvenience.

I find this kind of service extremely unprofessional and disappointing. As a paying customer, I expect basic courtesy and clear communication—especially when the confusion was caused by the restaurant’s own setup and not the customer.

I hope this matter will be looked into seriously and that appropriate steps will be taken to improve service quality and staff attitude...

the chicken here a bit a let down... Two pieces taste like yesterday chicken reheated but the third piece is prepared fresh today ora few hours prior . The Texas chicken in sungai petani taste fresher and the chicken is a bit bigger eitherway this brach do provide self-access refilling counter which is definitely a plus if you are a student studying here or you have a special sort soda mix that you enjoy as explained the correct porportion over the counter seem a lot of hassle. Next, if you choose to sit at nearer to the front facade it could be a bit warmer as you can't really feel the air-conditioning. A convenient Texas Chicken outlet in Alor Setar which is adjacent to the spacious Petronas petrol station. A drive-through station is here for easy purchase rather than going to the Aman Central outlet, plus, the location is a little bit out of the city centre, so the traffic is quite okay here.

At times, the service at the drive-through counter may be quick, sometimes it can be slow (have to wait for 10-15 minutes). Despite that matter, the quality of the food served is up to standard and at a satisfactory level.
