Actually this was our second experience having food from KBB Burger & Steak. Our first experience was good. We dined in and had our Angus Premium Steak, Smokey Burger and Wagyu Pasta. I requested the medium-well cook steak and it was perfect for my tastebud. I definitely will have that dish for my next visit. My daughter had her smokey meat burger. She said the burger was delicious. Meanwhile my husband had his Wagyu Pasta. It tastes okay but quite plain.. well maybe because we never try wagyu before so even the meat was tender but it still taste a bit different yeah.. haha maybe because we’re not used to wagyu. But it was acceptable. We had sparkling juices and yes.. it’s a bit pricey for the drinks.. maybe you guys should provide some less expensive drinks for the customers (well the steaks and burgers are fine dining right? Maybe customers can save money in choosing their drinks😆 win-win situation yeah?😁)
The second experience was recently early PKPB, we ordered delivery service and the service was fast! They came all the way from Kb to Tawang, Bachok in heavy rain just to deliver us the food in under 40minutes! Good job 👍🏻 The food were okay. I had my Wagyu Burger. The meat was tender and nice. Meanwhile my husband had his Double Meat Extreme and my daughter had the Smokey Meat burger again. The patties were juicy and tender. Oh, we also had our Spaghetti Carbonara and it was nice. Overall, we’re satisfied with all the food.
Not to forget about the staff(at the restaurant), service and responds from WhatsApp were also excellent. It’s bit pricey but I do understand you guys served premium quality steaks and fine dining.. So once in awhile or for important events/celebrations only we can treat ourselves here but not too often lahh haha. Well I really meant it you guys should rethinking about the beverages served. May be less expensive ones.. so that not “all” seem expensive hehe.. just a win win situation for you and customers...

What has changed since 2011? The set up now is more fine dining and less roadside burger stall. The entrance is inviting, with the moody light bulbs hanging from a wooden beam beckoning us to come inside for some hearty quality meals.
The waiters are more courteous and somewhat considerate. The decor is upmarket, they even have aircond now. The fridge full of dry aged steak meat and bottles of halal merlot made me wish I'd worn proper shoes instead of the fake birkenstocks.
The prices per 100 grams were fine, I was looking forward to a medium rare 200g steak which would've been just nice. Unfortunately they stocked mostly 500g pieces and I didn't want to charge it to the card since 2020 economic outlook is looking rather grim.
Ordered the chicken burger which was served on a plate a size too small. The burger itself was delicious and satisfying but it was no medium rare grain fed sirloin. Have to commend on the spaghetti which was perfectly al dente.
Not much options for drinks. The cheapest is regular coffee which wouldn't pair well with the burger. So ordered the 'fresh juice' which turned out to be 200ml bottled juice made from concentrates. RM15.90
I noticed the offerings are fewer than before the MCO which is understandable as the coronavirus pandemic affected everyone's coffers.
But I feel that they could've done more to give us better value for money. Give us stainless steel cutlery instead of plastic ones to eat our cheesy fries (which was also RM15.90). Another party was seated so close to us that i could've reached over to their plates. Also, gotta do something about that aircond because it was too hot inside. Maybe glass panel to separate the cooking area. Or...
Read moreSaw a colleague posted the steak on whatsapp status and was interested to try it out. So for my parents birthday, we went there (TMI, but I did saved money to go here lol). Not many places in KB offer such fine dining and premium steaks. To share more, you can choose your steak cuts once you're here and all portions are labelled with the prices and weights and others information, so it's really easy to make simple calculation in head (to not go over budget). Environment was nice, staffs are good too.
So for the food review: Sirloin Angus steak, delicious. Even for old people that have difficulty chewing commented it's tender enough. I requested well-medium done too. Portion? Good for one person, to taste.
I ordered something chicken Rosemary pasta. Nyum! Portion was decent.
Also, salmon spicy rice. Also good. For someone looking to fill up stomach, this might be good one to be recommended. We malays always need our nasi anyway.
Ordered smoked duck grilled too. Uwahh, the duck was tender. Nyum nyum! Tbh, this should be served with rice too. Portion, for the price, kinda not enough.
Drinks review: Ah, I can't believe simple ice lemon tea was unavailable. Still & sparkling water were like rm14, so better order flavoured drink. Mocha float was good and for rm9, that's common price, thankful for that lol.
Price review: Ah.. in certain way, I find it reasonable, but in another way, it could be pricey too for someone that used to simple restaurant/fast food budget hahaha once in awhile, can lahh.. spent money for quality food. Maybe one day, when I rich enough to the point I don't have to do math in my brain before ordering, I'll come...
