All time favourite.
Nasi lemak sambal kerang Nasi kari kambing Nasi ayam pedas.
Nasi lemak sambal kerang Comes with peanut and fried anchovies, quarter of boiled egg and sambal kerang. Sambal kerang is superb!!! The spiciness kickkssss!!! The rice itself is yummy. You can taste a hint of coconut milk combined with the aromatic pandan leaves.
Nasi kari kambing. Kari kambing also cukup rasa. The meat itself is tender, juicy and i like the taste of kambing with less overpowering smell. A bit spicy for kids. But, as expected for kelantanese foods, a bit sweet, but the taste is balanced with the saltiness and spiciness.
Nasi ayam pedas. It is true with its name. It is not the ayam merah that serves with nasi minyak or other gerai nasi pagi. Less sweet than ayam merah, but you can taste the spiciness. Overall, a bit salty for me, but complement well if eaten with rice.
Overall, these 3 menus were a must repeat menus for us. For kari kambing, not always served, but can find later in the afternoon. But,...
Read moreThey used to be a roadside stall selling nasi lemak. Now they have a proper place.
Service wise; they provide service like a fast food restaurant, which is kinda efficient. Just get into the line, order whatever you like, pay at the cashier, then enjoy your food.
Taste wise; good enough for my palate. The sambal is a usual Kelantanese style sambal tumis which is a bit on the sweet side. I love the nasi lemak which has enough taste and fragrance. It is also completely served with half hard boiled egg, fried anchovies, and peanuts, with slices of cucumber. And there are also a variety of other dishes to choose from for you to enjoy with your nasi lemak, which are also tasty.
Price wise; they are on the cheap side.
A recommended place to go even for a late night supper/...
Read moreThis is my second time here and the food is still good and cheap as the first time. Nasi lemak one with chicken gulai and one with telur rebus sambal and drinks teh o ais and limau kasturi ais was only RM14.20. Very cheap and tasty. Must come here again and again because of the food. Outside the resto there is a stall selling roti bakar of different variety. Telur goyang, bakar kaya butter and other styles. The place is always packed so first come first serve for seats. U may have to wait for seats when it's crowded. Will definitely come back again and again...
