Le French Bistro — Restaurant in Kelantan

We recently held an event here, and the service from the owner was extremely disappointing. This isn’t our first time hosting events at venues like halls or restaurants, but we’ve never been treated this poorly before. To the owner: please don’t act so entitled—your business depends on your customers. Initially, we agreed on an event time from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, after invitations had already been sent out, the owner informed us that the event could only go until 3 p.m. There are so many red flags with this restaurant. Those who dine in might not notice any issues, but I would not recommend hosting an event here.

However, it’s odd to me that you mentioned how it’s challenging to fulfill to my father’s request yet you have all the time to pursue legal actions. Your reply speaks more about your professionalism. I saw other reviews mentioning about your food quality so i suggest you to focus on improving on that instead. Or are you gonna say that these customers review are all lies? This was my second visit. My first visit was a long time ago. Based on mostly positive Google reviews, I decided to give it another try. It's good to see that the menu offers a great variety, and not like some typical cafes nowadays.

We had the fish and chips, supreme chicken, and Caesar salad.

the fish and chips were a disaster—fries were pale and unappetizing, like they came straight from the freezer to the airfryer. the fish had a funny thick batter, macam batter pisang goreng with barely any fish inside. No lemon, and tartar sauce was meh.

The supreme chicken was just okay; the sauce was ok. Buf lacked flavor, and the mashed potatoes were dry

The Caesar salad was dissapointing too —soggy croutons, very thin pieces of chicken, and barely any dressing.

Went to this bistro today during lunch hour, service was a bit slow considering we ordered at 1pm and foods arrived after 1.45pm and there was no crowd during our time. You would be expecting french cuisine in the menu but no haha they got asian, pakistani, western cuisines but no french cuisine to be seen it was a bit misleading since the bistro itself was named as le french bistro. However, the foods we ordered are delish! Ordered fried rice with sweet sour chicken, chicken cordon blue and chapati with curry yogurt i guess? Can't remember the names but all of them are flavoursome and yum-yum! But for the portion wise it's a meh one for me since i do eat a lot, hopping them to increase the portion a bit. Overall it was great and i'll glady come again...
