Always my top choice for seafood noodles, and today’s visit to this particular branch further solidified that.
Spacious and Well-Ventilated
The first impression I got upon entering was how spacious and well-ventilated this branch is. Parking is also much more convenient compared to other locations. You can either park by the roadside or opt for the basement parking, which comes with a fee. This effectively solves the typical parking hassle.
Fast and Efficient Service
As soon as we stepped in, the staff promptly arranged a seat for us. I noticed there were at least 40 staff members working efficiently. From placing our order to having the dishes served, the speed was incredibly fast.
Freshness at Its Peak
We ordered fish noodles and crab porridge, and both were exceptionally fresh. I could see how they stored the fish in ice to maintain its freshness before cooking. Only when we placed the order did they slice the fish and cook it immediately. This process ensures maximum freshness and flavor.
Variety and Flavorful Soup Base
However, do be prepared that some fish options might sell out quickly due to high demand. For a wider variety of choices, I recommend visiting during the morning session. They offer a wide range of fish selections and different soup bases. Their signature chili sauce also pairs perfectly with the dishes.
The Crab Porridge
The crab porridge was rich in seafood sweetness. Personally, I feel that if the porridge were cooked to a softer texture, it would be even better. Nevertheless, the soup base was flawless and absolutely satisfying.
Comfortable Dining Experience
Overall, this branch provides a comfortable dining experience due to the ample seating, eliminating the need for long waiting times. With the increased number of staff, the service speed is...
Read moreI find it absolutely ridiculous that this restaurant has a valet parking service and acts as if the entire street belongs to them. First of all, the street is public property under DBKL, which charges RM0.80 per hour for parking. Yet, they have the audacity to charge RM5, even if you park far from their restaurant on DBKL-managed spaces.
To make matters worse, as soon as I approached the main entrance, their valet was already demanding RM5, claiming they “control” the entire street. I’m pretty sure other restaurants on the same row don’t operate this way. I’ve been dining at various restaurants in this area for over 10 years, long before this place even opened, and none of them appointed valet services or claimed ownership of public parking spaces.
Excuse me? This area has plenty of other restaurants, and I’m free to dine wherever I want. What happens if I choose not to eat at your restaurant? The valet couldn’t even provide a reasonable answer.
Restaurants like this need to stop exploiting their customers with unnecessary and unjustifiable fees. Highly...
Read moreEveryone was talking about this restaurant. So I must die die go try it out what is the fuzz about it. Luckily I came during weekday and not many patrons here. So easily I got my table. Order the food I want and wait for about 10mins my food has arrived.
I tried the signature sauce mix seafood dry noodle. I don’t know or not sure about it. When i received my food, it was not hot hot like right out of the wok. It’s like 65% hot and I wasn’t amazed by it. I was hoping it was served HOT. Anyway the taste of the sauce which mainly because of the prawn belacan sauce onto the noodle. Taste wise overall I give 6.3 and even the fish ball wasn’t hot as well. Not very fantastic la to me. Soup was ok. On spot. Anyway my friend said the food overall average about 6. And will I come back again that’s depending if there’s a friend ask me to go then I go la. If not I wouldn’t...
