This is a plant-based restaurant. They do not clearly advertised that , but it does say vegetarian friendly at the front door and you can see in their menu that all items are meat free.
I think most people are just shocked that one can build a whole kopitiam menu without meat, and was disappointed when their regular options do not come with actual , eg chicken đđ
Rating this place as a plant-based option, I think itâs a good addition to the mix of offerings here. Flavour wise, they are equally tasty, comparable to their meat-cousins.
For non-vegetarian : There is no meat here For strict vegetarian : they have onion and garlic in the cooked dish, and they do serve eggs
Hence they labelled themselves as âvegetarian friendlyâ , not Vegetarian restaurant.
Worth a shout out : Toasts with generous house made Kaya and butter Half boiled egg are always done right Hainan kopi and tea are also a winner
Other dishes that I have tried : Mixed vege curry noodles - the broth/sauce are packed with flavour, but can be a bit spicy. Portion...
Read moreVisited this restaurant recently and left disappointedânot because of the food, which was alright (and before going for the bill we even thought to return and recommend to others )âbut because of the staffâs poor attitude. It ruined the whole experience and sentiment.
There was a Mastercard discount available, and we specifically mentioned the discount at the counter while making the payment, clearly within earshot of the staff who was processing it. However, the discount was not applied. When we pointed it out right after payment, the staff defensively responded, âBut you werenât talking to me,â despite standing right there and hearing the conversation.
This dismissive and unhelpful attitude completely ruined what could have been a decent meal. A simple acknowledgment or willingness to resolve the issue would have gone a long way, but unfortunately, there was none.
Disappointed with the serviceâthere are better options...
Read more1 star is too much for them. The restaurant is having dangerous decoration with sharp material which cause my mother gets hurt on her forehead during her dining session at the restaurant. It is a big scar which hardly recovers. The management drag time till 2 months + only give us solutions which ask us to see doctor and they will only help us to submit to claim for insurance. However, the claim is unsure to be successfully return to us (could be simply bluff because it is something unsure and all depends on their decisions). It is ridiculous and obviously dragging time which cause disadvantage to us.
They trying to give us a RM100 angpao and ask us to sign the letter consider as case settlement. They are trying to humiliate us with RM100 to solve the issue. We think that this is so ridiculous that a restaurant could ignore the safety and health...
