Goldhill Club — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Service to be fair, went pre-CNY so i would expect the service to be abit slow, but we were literally the first table there, it was not even 50% full and service staff was fumbling. only one or two senior looking somewhat what they were doing while the rest was dawdling around. At some point we asked to be passed a whole stack of dishes so we can self-service replace them ourselves.

Hopefully, service gets better.

Chinese New Year is the time to gather with friends and families over meal. Most of the time we booked earlier as the festive crowd could be overwhelming.

One relative decided to treat us to CNY dinner at Goldhill Club in Menjalara Kepong. Since it was a treat, I didn't question the location and just be present when the time came. Essentially a licensed slot machine operator, they do have a restaurant in the building.

CNY hence the pre-set menus were available. Customary lou sang followed by 10-couse dinner that was frankly a bit underwhelming. Everyone in the family commented the same...

Food cold and ultra slow out, not following the order that should be the flow of the order. Tight and compact place.

Despite food slow out, when the 2nd batch dinner entry time, they immediately out all food, and chase us out.

Oh 1 more thing, you buy the package free 1 bottle wine. But the wine cannot be drink there, ask you carry home. So no liquor. Whether u bring ur own also cannot.
