TLDR delicious & authentic Sarawakian food😋😋 If you're craving for some delicious and authentic Sarawakian food, then this local restaurant in Cheras is definitely worth checking out. The must-try dish is the Sarawak laksa - the broth is perfectly balanced with bursting flavors and fresh prawns (peeled) that will leave your taste buds wanting more 👍👍😋
The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with a small kopitiam-style setting on the first floor that you can easily access via stairs or lift. The owners' service is friendly and excellent, making you feel right at home🏠
The best part is that the price for each dish is very affordable with great value for money
The only downside is the limited menu, with only 4 types of dishes to choose from. But the QUALITY of each dish MORE than makes up for it.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this local restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Sarawakian food in Cheras. It's a great place to satisfy your cravings for home-cooked style comfort food.
💯 won't regret it. 💯 coming back for ALL of...
Read moreDefinitely overrated. Sarawak Kuching Kolomee & Laksa is not like this! RM6 for such a small bowl of noodles? How can you even justify it?
Owner should try to stay in the kitchen to concentrate on cooking so that it is not too long wait for customers. I understand is hard to find workers, but by running in and out just to take down customer's name and leave the Wan Dan overcooked in the boiling hot water? Seriously? He even told the worker to send the food to the wrong table dispute the fact that the table next to me keep telling him it should be her!
Not impress and very disappointed. This is not Sarawak FOODS and I am...
Read moreGiven the numerous testimonies that the kolomee is as authentic as in Kuching, I was severely disappointed. The only authentic thing was the noodle texture. The taste was off - suspect the cook added some kind of dark sauce. Local Kuching folks can tell just frm the colour of the noodle that they messed ard with the recipe. Their teh c peng special was also a let down - not enuf palm sugar and tea. I traveled quite a distance coz I love kolomee, so this experience was below par. That said, it was a tasty meal - just don't advertise it as authentic Kuching Kolomee. Warning: a long wait is to be expected for a table...
