Alexis Bistro & Wine Bar @ Bangsar Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Food were good. The servers were attentive. BUT, I felt the way your BSC branch Manager, is asking us to settle the bill at 2250hrs in order for him to close the register is UNEXCEPTABLE!

We have asked the staff earlier, at what time that they closed order? He mentioned by 2330hrs. Just to make sure i undertood, i have asked the last server again at what time they closed? He clearly said by 2330hrs. And we can still ordered our cake before closing time. Which means, they cannot close the register before that.

The ONLY thing that made me angry is, the manager was being RUDE. Being in hospitality or customer service field definately draining him up. But, it is a job that he is into. He can ask me nicely if he wanted us to settle the bill. I am having food with my best friend (she is craving for your pavlova) made me holding my anger towards him in particular.

We are a paying customer like others and our bill is already RM148++. It may not sound big amount to your big restaurant, but it is still money and we expect some respect from your staff.

A loyal visitor for the last decade or so but I admit it’s been awhile since I last visited this branch for a meal. It was the 3rd week in August 2019.

There was no staff to welcome us and direct us to a table but a kind staff behind the counter did point us to some empty tables and seats.

Please train your staff to repeat the order.

My guest ordered french fries but the order of lobster roll with french fries came. My guest refused the order reminding the staff that he only ordered french fries. However, the lobster roll and french fries returned with the staff exclaiming that the order was for lobster roll. My guest decided to accept the order to avoid embarassing his host.

What was odd was the waiter asked my guest whether he would like his french fries to be served to which my guest replied to cancel the order of french fries as there were fries served with the lobster roll.

The pappardelle was very good and the pepperoni pizza was alright.

As expected from a previous experience at the Alexis branch at The Gardens Mall, the lobster roll was not appetising. It was also not what he ordered.

I did complain to the manager who decided to exclude the lobster roll from the bill.
