ALL THAI ALL BAD - I would like to assure the public that the previous reviews on having to wait an hour for their food were not exaggeration at all after literally waiting for an hour for my food.
It's my first visit to the restaurant and SERVICE WAS BEYOND TERRIBLE. I ordered 3 pork skewers, 2 lime sauce steam fish (one with chili, one without), fried scallop with broccoli, fried petai, tomyum and fried egg with prawn. It took ONE hour to serve 1 portion of fish (with chili) and 1 pork skewers. We were served 6 portions of rice as requested but without fork and spoon and we had to get them ourselves. After much fuss from us, the petai, pork skewers and the egg showed up with almost no signs of prawns (I thought there was magic behind the dish since it said to have prawns and it took an hour to prepare) followed by tomyum which the kid in the picture poured me and the person next to me with.
After more fuss, the 2nd fish came (WITH CHILI when it shouldnt). Again, the kid in the picture lied and said it was for decoration purposes but we insisted on zero chili and the chili in the dish was alrd cooked. The manager brought it back, and came back with another fish in 3mins. Here's the catch, first it took an hour to serve on fish, but now only 3 mins. Which we are all right, the fish was so over cooked maybe because it was the same fish as before drenched in chili lime sauce but just stripped away of chili flakes. anyways, when it came back, the kid in the picture washed my leg again with the lime sauce. Be informed, he will not know that he poured sauces on you so dont even expect an apology AND the earliest review on the food being slow was a month ago, clearly they didnt improve AND the food is not worth the wait. I was tempted to go burger lab to eat while waiting which was just beside...

Read moreWe made an 8pm booking for 2 & arrived minutes earlier only to find we had to wait 15-20mins due to the food delays from current tables. We waited anyway considering we weren’t too hungry yet. Upon waiting, I noticed a couple of tables empty, with no “reserved” signs or labels that they’re taken, but seeing as the front of house is already scrambling, we also didn’t want to chase them further.
20 mins later we got a table all the way at the back & I ordered immediately. We requested for dessert to be served after dinner of which the waiter said he recommends to have it now cause the dishes will take time. I insisted for it to be fired after dinner anyway, & he complied.
Shortly after ordering, a big group occupying 2 tables arrived & proceeded to order. & 45 mins later, they’re food is served first. We ask the waiter what’s happening & he comes back saying he just moved our order to be first so the kitchen would start preparing. My question is, why are customers who showed up later & ordered much later getting their meals first?
I’m not one to tell establishments how to do their job but if you’re understaffed & kitchen is backlogged considering tonight is also Mother’s Day, but perhaps consider serving some light snacks to ease your hangry customers? Or at least something. It felt like the staff kept looking at our empty table but nothing was being done. Business seems great but service was a...
