The Indian parking management guy was extremely rude. Here’s what happened:
There was a car in front of us that couldn’t get through the gate. When it was our turn, we faced the same issue, the system wouldn’t let us pass either. We asked the management for help, and the guy responded by sarcastically asking, “Have you tried TNG? Debit card? What card did you use?"
We explained that we had tried ALL possible cards, including the ones we CONFIRM that we use when enter the gate, but nothing worked. Instead of helping, he condescendingly replied, "Are you sure you tried everything?"
Frustrated, we asked, "So how are we supposed to get through now?" His response, “I don’t know how you’ll pass through. So, how now?"
Seriously, WHAT?! Instead of fixing the clearly faulty system, he wasted our time mocking us. I couldn’t tolerate his unprofessional attitude, so I’m calling it out here. If any of you face a similar issue, don’t be polite with him—he doesn’t deserve it.
We eventually tried another gate, only to see yet another car stuck at the barrier. Three cars in five minutes—clearly, this was a system failure, not user error.
After the fourth try, the system finally scanned our car plate, and the card was successfully read. Luckily, we were only stuck for about 10 minutes—otherwise, we wouldn’t have known what to do with that Indian management guy (the one in the photo is his colleague, who was helpful; the rude one is the larger-built...
Read moreThis mall is revamped as of 2025 June. it used to be an old mall for nearby old Klang road residences who find it too tedious to visit Mid valley.
even since 3 years ago they have underwent a series of renovation, and now it's fully revamped. I would say the revamped is pretty successful, as it looks modern and nice now. plenty of new stores and hip and trendy new shops.
in the ground floor still got Starbucks, coffee bean, mixue, and McDonald's, and now got poh kong, guardian, omega pork noodle. and some other stores too. it's brightly lit and looks warm and modern.
on second floor, it's Watsons, jaya grocer, along with some restaurants like old town, zus, bread story, gongcha etc.
if you went to 3rd floor, there's a mrdiy, popular, and karaoke manekineko.
turn right from jaya grocer and you can go to opposite side through a link bridge though there's not much there. got Xiaomi store, pho viet, another grocery which is bens grocer, and another chagee.
it makes for a convenient mall for people living nearby although if you want to shop, it's not exactly the best experience since not much shopping can be done here.
but, this would be a nice and cozy place if you want to have a quiet meeting and have a nice weekend meal and...
Read moreThis McDonald's in Pearl Point Shopping Mall always very slow in taking orders and preparing food. Also many times have illegal car parking blocking customers. Today I went to drive thru at 950am to queue, there were 3 cars ahead of me, by 10am they change the mcd breakfast menu to lunch menu, the next second I asked the waiter who took orders , she mentioned no more breakfast was left just within 1min. I queued in a fast food restaurant, they were taking their own sweet time to order and deliver food. It took me 10-15min to drive in take orders and since the breakfast no longer available then I said I do not want to buy, I still have to wait 15-20min in the queue to let those cars In front of me to get their food only able to get out of there.
The problem was the red car is the manager car who parked there and blocking those who can just go if do not want to buy. I asked the waitress and she kept saying is the manager who parked there.
It happened between 950am to 1015am, this is not the first time this McDonalds drive thru service is extremely slow, always go into the queue need to take about at least 20-30min to get out of there. Seriously why can the manager able to park there illegally to block...
