My family and I have been a long time customer at this place since it first opened. We’ve always enjoyed our dining experience here but our recent visit was really upsetting.

We arrived at 9.30pm and after seeing the signage at the door saying its last order is at 10pm and it closes at 10.30pm, we proceeded to enter. We were greeted warmly as usual, but by 9.50pm as we were eating, they started sweeping and mopping the floor in front of us. It irked us a little as we felt like this should only be done after closing, but we waved it off. But they took it another notch by turning off some lights in the restaurant and also the aircond. Mind you, this was not even 10pm yet and there were still other customers in there apart from us.

By 10.10pm, we have finished our food and immediately a waitress came to take it away (after putting her handbag in our line of sight) and rudely told us ‘Kejap lagi nak tutup’. Yes, we are aware of it but I don’t think it was necessary to chase us out when we have clearly finished dining and will leave soon. Feeling irritated and uncomfortable by her disdain, we decided to finish our drinks immediately (to which she came and took it away as soon as we put our glasses down) and paid. As we were at the counter paying, she was right next to us telling another staff to turn off the lights. We walked out by 10.15pm and she was right behind us leaving for the night as well.

The restaurant states that it closes at 10.30pm but if you want people to leave by 10pm maybe you should change the operating hours. We were treated as if we have overstayed past 11pm, when we clearly were still in the operating hours. Maybe it was our mistake to have come late but we’re not trying to be unreasonable here. We were left with such a bitter taste in our mouth from that blatant service. I think Mr Peter should take note of this and monitor the way the staffs’ services are...

Trying this restaurant first time as I don't come to this side of wangsa maju. When I first walked it in gave me captains cabin vibe and I like it. Nice ambience, decor and layout. Also menu of food looked delicious and thinking this would be my new fav place. After service however: The chicken chop was a little over done and was served with kangkung....errr what? Serve la with fries and seasonal veggies....mana Ade chicken chop and kangkung aduh 😞 Next, my ceaser salad was just a salad as there weren't any ceaser dressing. It looked more of an oil based sauce they used. When I called the waiter and asked for ceaser dressing, he told me he doesn't understand English...so another point to minus here, as u can't be in the service industry and not speak English la dude, if not tukar je kedai tomyam lampu berkaler. The dude then brought some white tartar sauce tasting mixed with God knows what and said this is the salad's sauce...I got confused as ...now I have 2 different sauces for my so called ceaser salad. However credit where due, the mushroom soup was excellent and was served inside a bun....👍

Overall I'd give it a 5/10 but I'm willing to try and come again and order something else. I'm surely coming to try another dish and leave a review then.

Management kindly take note on the...

Ordered mushroom bruchetta, ginger beef with spring onions, chicken green curry, crispy butter prawn, petai belacan veges. 2 hot lattes, a pineapple juice and peppermint drink. All costed RM200+-. The place is very cosy. About the food the beef very tender and soft to bite. Green curry was good. It doesn't taste strong like thai's because they didn't add thai basil in it. Butter prawn was excellent 👍🏼. a must to order. Petai belacan veges quite salty but when paired with the rice it just mix very well and it looked spicy but NOT 😁. For dessert they only have cakes. ✔️ they have a prayer room ✔️ pure pineapple juice.

🔺What i think they could improve is the lighting. The lighting of the restaurant is too dim. Most of the pictures look bright because our smartphone able to adjust with the actual ambient of the room.

update 7 jan 2023 had a hainanese chicken under western menu. When i receive the dish it wasn't like the usual hainanese chicken often served at other restaurants. This was grilled and they put an egg on top. My friends order chicken grill and the setup look nothing different than mine except for the egg and the sauce. I thought they served mine with black pepper sauce but when i tasted it, was tomato sauce. if i go there again i wont...

In terms of coziness and interior decoration, this place should have scored 5 stars, but a lot more things to be done to be a great eatery. First thing is, this place might not be kids-friendly. Yes, they do have baby chairs, but sadly, not many menu designated for kids. When asked, they can only offer fries and one other menu. No nuggets. They have both western and asian food like fried rice, sambal petai, paprik and stuff. We tried the chicken grill. It was good. The chicken was juicy and tender. Only letdown is the Udang Sambal. Its quite spicy and does not look like what shown on the menu. Its not Udang Masak Merah for sure. I got stomach ache the next day due to the spicyness. Price wise, it is okay, for such place. But drinks can be a little bit expensive. Example, a Milo ais cost you RM6 ringgit. Yes, the same milo that you can get for RM3 across the street. Overall experience is average. Service is okay, just that we did order for iced water at the counter itself but it never arrived. Staffs need to be more attentive. Hope can improve further.

Dinner with my family. 6 of us. This place was recommended by my close friend. The environment, the concept, the decor is good. I planned to have dinner with beef (burger or local dishes with beef) unfortunately beef is not available, same goes to burger. I change my menu and select Nasi Putih with Sambal Udang. The sambal Udang taste quite good but small portion. Kueh Teow Goreng is tasty. However, the taste of Chicken Chop with Black Pepper / Creamy Mushrooms disappointed my kids. May be the owner need to revamp and adjust the taste of the chicken chop source.
