D'oro Wine & Dine — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This is my first time leaving bad reviews for anythg, and i think they deserve it. Dont be fool by the high ratings, they ask customer to leave review in exchange for a free mocktail.

Honestly, food is mediocre at best, most of the local staff are quite rude, foreign worker are ok but they cant understand english/malay well, which makes it very hard to communicate with them.

During our dine in, all of our meal that come with fries are exchanged with mashed potato without prior notice, one of my friends order add on fries and it comes with TWO MASHED POTATO, seriously??? Without even asking if we want to cancel the add on fries??? When asked, the manager(boss?) said 我也是刚刚才知道 (I just knew that we ran out of fries)???

And they served wrong sauce a couple times too. All these were never come with one single apology, we got "lecture" instead, oh ya, when ask for compensation like discount or somethg, the boss ask me to give her discount instead? (Scratching my head trying to understand the logic) At last, she gave us 2 more free mocktails which we never agree to accept.

Im fair, if the food is good but attitude is bad, then if u can tolerate that, fine u may come, heck i might come agn as well, but food is seriously not good, borderline bad...

Please, just dont come, unless you want to find someone to argue with and ruin...

Wow those good reviews here requires validation? How is the food good? It’s mostly microwaved / reheated / processed food that’s overly salty? The pizza is horrible like some roti base from supermarket and topped with some basic cheapo ingredients. Evidently overcooked pastas, don’t think they know what is called aldente also. It’s so called western food but tailored to suit the weird taste buds. How is the ambience good? The place is so small and outside tables are crazy hot Toilet is squat toilet, not even seated ones and smells of drain. Terrible stinky smell Service is so bad, takes an hour for food to arrive and for them to market themselves as wine resto, their glasses are so cheapo like those free glasses when you buy wine at the supermarket. When we used certain glass the lady kept taking us back and black face as if we sinned or something Just to make it clear for those who thinks this is fine dining or athas. NO it’s just a cheapo casual place that serves food lousier than Uncle Don
