Had an extremely unpleasant experience this morning — completely ruined my weekend mood. A teenage girl was at the counter, and honestly, she single-handedly destroyed what should’ve been a simple visit.

Her tone was rude, her speech was unclear and mumbled — I could barely understand a single word she said. On top of that, she had a couldn’t-care-less attitude, full of impatience and completely disrespectful.

She even miscalculated a RM25 order to over RM32. She was slamming the calculator like she was proving something, yet still got the numbers wrong. When I showed visible frustration, instead of correcting herself, she doubled down with an even worse tone and gave me attitude. I was this close to losing my temper right there.

Thankfully, an aunty came out afterward — she finally got the price right and handed me the correct items. No matter how popular or busy your business is, treating customers like a nuisance is plain unacceptable. That girl's behavior screamed poor manners and zero professionalism.

Just based on this alone, I have no intention of returning. If it weren’t for the aunty stepping in with some basic competence and respect, I would’ve walked away...

Used to buy from their original location but first time here. Not difficult to find with the Google GPS. It was already 5pm but since I was on the way fr pandan indah, I decided to try my luck. Service was fast and served within minutes. The chives dumpling were sold out but I managed to get the yam, pumpkin and turnips ones. It had bits of dried prawns in the fillings. My favourite is still the yam. Overall the dumplings were a bit on the sweetish side. Also tried a packet of 3 types of banana leaf wrapped local kuih...pulut udang, pulut inti and kuih koci. All were not bad but finished in 2 mouthfuls...mini sizes especially the kuih koci. I was expecting a triangle shape as per the wrapping but it was just a rounded ball. It is a nice convenient place to get your tea time...

I am truly dissapointed and was totally let down by their extremely selfish nature. Business is challenging. And that is why I wanted to support small business. Gave small order, cannot fulfil, don't update. Call don't answer. Later at night only call say don't have 1 item, so changed. Come delivery day, 5 min before the timing I needed it, I called and he said that 1 item NOT READY YET!!! Told him why not call, then I do need that 1 item. Then promised will arrive in 30min. 1 hour later, I am still waiting. My meeting had nothing for their tea break. In times of challenge, commitment and communication are more critical. They just lost a very regular...

We went there because of an FB review. There was a small queue and when we got to order the chives kuih teo was over. After seeing the review that was what we wanted - hopefully they know the demand and start making more of the chives - so in case you crave for the same make sure you get there early. We settled for yam and turnip. What was amazing about these kuih teo was that the skin was delicate yet chewy and soft. The fillings for just 1RM was perfect. And if you can grab some sauce or chilli to dip into these are just mouth watering. You can see from the pics the exact texture and consistency - yum!

The chai kueh was good stuff! Chewy outer layer. Out of the 4 flavours- my personal fav was the sang kok being the most fragnant. Although i would say almost other flavors are prettty worth the try. One piece = RM1.30 As for the kueh, it was so so. The banana ball was on the tough side and the angku didn't have a good chewy outer layer. I tried their chrysanthenum sugarcane drink @RM3.80. Not bad but on the sweeter side. All in all, the chai kueh wont go wrong but the rest is subjective.
