Popular eatery serving seafood and stir fried dishes in the neighborhood. Was pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon. The salted egg bittergourd dish was crunchy and had a nice coat of salted egg yolk in every bite. The stout pork ribs is usually served on the bone but we requested for a boneless option which was tender and did not lack flavour. There was a really nice light after taste of caramelized black stout. Their sang har mee was pretty good too with a thick gravy over crispy egg noodles and 2 large fresh prawns. One of the prawns wasn't super fresh but the other had a firm flesh and satisfying bite to it. Reasonably priced except the the prawns are by weight. Do note that kitchen close for reat time at 2.30pm to...
Read moreWe ordered for takeaway with the restaurant. They were able to arrange delivery for us (though the lalamove rider was really rude but it would be easier for the restaurant to arrange for delivery instead). Food was still warm when they arrived (around 15 min ride). Salted egg fried squid was average, very salty. Crab meat seafood tofu soup was good, and came with a packet of vinegar too. Popular with the kids. Portion (small) was big enough for 4-5 pax. Fuyong fried egg was decent. All would taste much better if able to dine in. Commendable service, affordable price with sizeable portions. Would revisit for...
Read moreI was invited to a dinner by my friend and had a chance to dine in this restaurant. To me (non foodies), I like all the dishes served to us. There were 10 of us and we each spent around RM25 each ordering six simple dishes. We had one seafood, a special chicken dish, a tofu, a curry, a veg and a pork chitterlings with dried prawn and soy sauce which I love the most. The service was prompt enough as we do not need to wait for long for our food to be served. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere but comfortable and you quickly feel at home. I will come back again to try...
