Da Truth Cafe — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

It’s a fairly rustic setup place with dim lighting. A comfortable spot to chill and gather for an afternoon lunch, forget about ‘squeezing’ with others at different cafe.

The dirty latte got our curiosity and decided to give it a try. Had the first sip and was pleasantly surprised by the nutty taste and it was chocolate, they added chocolate into the latte to give it another layer - it’s mocha.

Food menu offers a wide variety of healthy choice and as well as a range of hearty rice bowls. We ordered aglio olio and big breakfast for our afternoon brunch.

The food came to our table piping hot, big breakfast was as u have expected “big” with a plate greasy fest with bacon, croissant, wet runny omelette, sausage and a healthy salad to compliment the guilt. Aglio olio was good as well because our helpful taukeh offered to boost the taste for us with an extra kick in spice and sourness which we’d prefer anytime. 🤯

It was my first time there, and I feel like I won't come alone next time! I ordered a healthy meal and a cup of cappucino. I thought the chicken breast was greasy, but after eating it, I realized it was honey. It was really fragrant. The point is that the chicken is very smooth and tender, not hard or hard at all, and it feels like string when you eat it. His potatoes are also baked very, very fragrant, and the fragrance can be smelled as soon as they are served.

It is a very leisurely afternoon tea, and there are many famous dogs 🐶 to accompany you, making friends with other furry owners.

Another customer’s dog bit my dog during our visit. Fortunately, there was no injury, but when I asked the staff if they could request the other customer to control their dog, they refused. As a result, I had no choice but to leave.

This lack of policy doesn’t make sense—customers with aggressive dogs are allowed to stay, while others are left feeling unsafe or forced to leave. It also creates a dangerous environment for other pets and patrons.

Very dissatisfied with the experience. That said, I’m open to updating this review and returning in the future if I receive a satisfactory response from the owner on Google Maps.
