This is my second review for this place since several years ago.
The place is a makeshift road side eatery. So do not expect comfort. They do serve good tasty malay food including ikan bakar and soup. I believe they deserve to be re-rated.
In my past review, it was disappointing how some people were preferred over others. That attitude seems to have changed. Today, they are certainly more open to all races.
The place os under a tin roof so expect heat. Cooling is by large fans which help blow away the hot air and the flies.
I love their pecal and other ulam’s. The ikan bakar is well done. It is a good place to have some traditional malay food.
There is a busker on site belting out music on his guitar and he is good.
I am not too keen on their drinks and normally just order plain hot water.
Love their salt fish, sambal belacan, pineapple curry, and the many other selections. You have to be early to get better selections. At lunch, this place is usually busy. I give it only one star for the atmosphere which you will appreciate when you eat here. They could improve.
