SO DIRTY !!!!

I have been ordering from this 90s Hokkien Mee shop a few times on grab. I really like it . This time I came in person to order takeaway. I saw how they cooked and wanted to vomit. I wonder how many times they use dirty oil from floor when I ordered from grab!

Refer to photos the cook scoop out oil from the wok on the dirty floor under the sink. There was a bottle of oil on the counter but Instead of cooking with that , the cook took it from under the stove 🤮🤮🤮 .

I watched them cook in shock and confronted the staff when he gave me the tapau plastic. I asked him why he took the oil from floor. Same place they walk up and down and splash dirt water from their shoes . Also behind this wok it’s a washing area and whatever water drained from stove area flow out there also.

The staff took the wok and showed me 🤦‍♀️ like as if I wanted to see it to make sure it’s oil! I asked them WHY did the cook take this oil to cook instead of the bottle oil . They can’t answer me !!! . Then they took the noodles and gave to a grab rider . Then they cooked a new set for me with the oil from bottle and pork lard oil from the stove . SO DIRTY SHOP. DONT EAT HERE IF YOU DONT WANT...

Came here around 4pm and only a few stalls were open but the place was still busy. The shop has air con inside so it was a pleasant dining experience, bonus no cigarette smoke contaminating my air.

Wan tan mee was generous with their sauce and char siu was really good. I liked the prawn noodles too. Service was good, all the stall owners spoke English and were nice. One of them pointed out for us to sit inside where it was cooler when I initially sat a table outside.

The hot white coffee was really good, it was thick like a thickshake and really sweet. The drinks were pricey, 5 of them and...

Place have aircond and outdoor dining areas. Now they have food truck operators also which add to more varieties of food choices. We had the wat tan hor and this was good as can see gravy was thick and flavoured well. Tom yam noodle equally good flavour. Tomatoes noodle soup was ok and noodle actually can feed 2 person. Claypot chicken rice ok only. BBQ skewers which we had was china style well flavoured and not spicy (chillies) which was good for my family. Can be cramped inside aircond area as tables are too close to each other. They are open until late night so convenient for...
