Saw ratings and decided to try, and I must say, I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Here are a few reasons why I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone:
The noodles were a major LETDOWN. Not only were they not plucked properly, but they were also STIFF and DIFFICULT to chew. It felt like I was gnawing on rubber bands rather than enjoying a satisfying meal. The texture was completely off, and it ruined the entire dish for me.
To make matters worse, when I politely shared my feedback with the owner about the poor quality of the noodles, they were completely DISMISSIVE and DEFENSIVE. Instead of acknowledging the issue and showing a willingness to improve, the owner seemed uninterested in handling any criticism about their noodles. It was disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism and customer service.
Overall, my experience with the Pan Mee noodles at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The subpar quality of the noodles combined with the owner's unwillingness to address customer feedback left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying noodle experience.
Feel free to try this place for yourselves and share your experiences. However, to all food lovers and enthusiasts who want to enjoy authentic pan mee , I’d rather recommend the Panmee stalls in ICC Pudu rather than this. One of the shops located in the middle area makes proper plucked and...
Read moreI used to frequent their stall back when they operated from a corner shop in the area. Back then, Deli Lotus was easily one of the best value-for-money pan mee spots in town — large portions, thick gravy-like soup, and a mountain of toppings. Naturally, I was excited to revisit and relive those memories. Ordered one big and one small pan mee soup to compare.
Big Pan Mee Soup – RM13.00 Sadly, it was a big letdown. Don’t get me wrong — the taste is still there. The broth is flavourful, and the noodles are well-cooked. But the portion feels small for what’s supposed to be a “big” bowl. The toppings were minimal — definitely not like the generous helpings they used to give. In fact, it feels like both the big and small bowls share the same amount of toppings, just served in different-sized bowls with more noodles and soup in the big one. The chili condiment, however, is still superb — it adds just the right amount of kick and elevates the dish.
The place is without AC, but fans do the job. Tables are spaciously arranged, so you won’t be brushing shoulders or eavesdropping. The restaurant is clean (rated A), and service is fast and straightforward — you pay when your food or drinks arrive. The short-haired lady boss is very friendly, creating a homely vibe that makes you feel welcome.
If you’re a newcomer and think the food is good, well… it used to be tons better! In short you get your...

While the shop's pan mee is slightly on the high side, you really get a good bowl of pan mee with loads of ingredients and a strong anchovies base soup. I will still recommend this restaurant to anyone ard KL who wants the best bowl of pan mee.
First time trying the pan mee here after finding out this restaurant. The pan mee is unquestionably one of the best I have tasted. Soup was truly on-point with strong umami of anchovies and fried onion flavor. Dough was bouncy but it was a lil thick to my preference. Having said that, I can see why there are so many loyal customers to this restaurant. Lady boss owner was friendly and approachable. On the downside, the price is definitely on the high side (perhaps due to the anchovies as soup base). This deserves a spot in my Top Ten Recommended...
