As my third time of visiting, I believe that I have to leave my latest comment here again. I have ordered a satay beef noodles, plus the add in sausage, egg and toast, plus 1 iced lemon tea. This is the food that I ate and I am going to comment from a few aspects.

Environment The whole restaurant still maintains in a good condition and everything looks kind of clean. However, there were quite a lot of flying bugs and mosquitoes. I am not eating in an outdoor kopitiam without aircond. I am paying almost 40 bucks in a restaurant with good AC. A pest control needs to be done throughly. Or else all other customers should bring the anti-mosquito spray if you want to dine in. The wife did not work at all as well

Quality of food Last few times, I just ate the satay beef instant noodles. As a HKer, I am not being picky because everything I go to a Cha Cheng Teng, this is what mostly we order. Last 2 times, I told the waiter that the noodles was toooooo soft. Even my grandma without teeth can eat them. This time I remark that I want hard noodles and it came with soft noodles again. Like again, I am not being picky. I am paying more than in Hong Kong to enjoy HK food and I would expect something better quality. The soup was too much and the flavour is not satay enough. Big room to improve. The only thing to take is the amount of beef and it was around 5-6 pieces if I am not mistaken. Maybe I am the satay beef noodle lover and I didn’t try other thing much. But if you come here, DO NOT ORDER THIS

Price The price was RM36.55 and it’s roughly HK$60. I would say it’s more expensive in HK but I know I cannot compare this with HK. I assume Kam Kee Cafe is aiming to get medium class customers. If I would say paying almost RM37 and it came with this package (environment + food), it’s a no go for me and it reminds me one more time

Why 2 stars? Even though I said so much about the restaurant, it is still worth a 2 star simply because of the food. The HK style is still here. Just the taste and quality will never come. No complain. No offence. Just...

Food is nice , purposely bring my kid here to celebrate his 18 months old ~ but please remember if you bring kids , recommend you go up and sit to enjoy your meal and let them play around at the playground ... We are first time parents here , staff ask us to sit at Ground floor instead of ask us whether will let our kid to go playground or not ... So after meal , we went up to let him play around , and ask one of the foreigner staff is it ok we go up before pay ? Cause I worry later they thought we want to run away , and he say ok , so we go up to have fun first ... End up , another staff call me and told me " should pay first before come up , or please let us know your come up cause we thought your missing already ( huh ?! I thought the foreign colleague got told them ??! ) , So I have to repeat just now I told someone already ... Then he walk away , another moment later , another staff come to me , asking me in not sure rude way , or he don't know how to explain ask me to go down make payment ( at this moment I a bit pissed off , but think back today is my kid big day , I have to behave ) ...

Dear management , maybe your can at least ask your team to let customer know or put a sign before parents want to go up , can have a pay first , so that your team no need to worry customers run away or not in this...

Staffs attitude was bad! When we arrived, upstairs are full, but the staffs asked us to sit downstairs 1st then later can change to upstairs if upstairs got empty seats. After we just placed order food with scan QR code, we noticed upstairs got empty seats & we change to upstairs because it is convenient for us to look after our kids to play in playground upstairs. We did informed staffs to change the table number before we went up. But after we went up, staffs upstairs blame us cannot simply change table & must informed downstairs staffs 1st.I told I did informed, but they insisted we go back our downstairs table. Then I went down try to deal with the staff just now. Ridiculously the staff said because we ordered use the downstairs table so need to follow back the table number & said food already sent to the table. But I showed him the table is empty, food not ready yet! And why promised us can change to upstairs before we order! If we eat half way & request change table then I understand will trouble the staffs to clean twice! Please train your staffs! I won't come here for second time for...

A Hong Kong style "tai chow" or restaurant. With fusion of western food. Seating is in 2 level, ground or first floor. We went up as the bottom floor was fully occupied. You have to climb a long narrow staircase. Scary for oldies. No wonder customers prefer ground floor. Food wise, we tried the typical "Tai chow". Ordered sweet sour pork, fried tofu, sweet bean and curry. Nothing extraordinary. Any roadside equivalent would be able to fire up better tasting dishes. Don't order the curry if you are used to our local Malaysian curry. It's a bad mutation of the name curry. Bland, no spice, thicken with starch. Like a brown sauce. Drinks are served in tiny cups. Two sips and that's it. The kids set meal of pasta does not goes well with my grandkids. They did not like it though they are fans of pasta. Parking is great though and there are other food outlets to venture out next
